Sorry yes the first post is edited each day, the new list will be posted the evening before usually about 7pm ish I try to get it up by but with usual family things sometimes it's a bit later.
Solwaykid well donedo you want to come and do mine
we painted the rest before Xmas but gloss work still not finished, the fact you didn't take too long might inspire me actually. I felt a right nasty pasty and nearly apologised, but then remembered you asked to be told.
One day I might be more organised...........

Click Quote on the persons post, then it'll come up in the brackets. Remove anything you don't want in there apart from the 2 sets of brackets with quote and /quote in. By Quoting your post I can see you cut off the end bit of my response but also cut off the /quote in brackets, you need to leave that bit there. One day I might be more organised...........

I should be able to do dailies and most of the bedroom bits and do all the landing bits. No hotspots for me tomorrow though as I want to concentrate on the decorating.
Penny drops for me too re the crossing out so am now going to try it, watch out here goes..... [STRIKE]success[/STRIKE] :rotfl:
Right DH now off to get take away and me putting kids to bed in the meantime. After take away we'll move the TV unit and I'll keep going with the stripping. Walls gang, walls :rotfl:MFiT Member No 85

Kiwi well done
Good luck with the rest of the decorating, enjoy your stripping! Same offer applies, if anyone else fancies doing mine you are quite welcome to it
halls a mess really needs doing, will try to work out when I have the time, no point when we have lots of appointments etc on as it just drags on forever.
Right next mission is to finish this darn hall, god I hate this job especially now as when I bend down lots like to pick up shoes/boots I seem to cough more, but like Solway just said, it needs doing and the sooner it's done sooner it's over. Banning myself from posting for another 20 minutes, wonder if I can get it done in that time. One day I might be more organised...........

still to do stairs/hall and washing up/kitchen floor (again, I dropped the stirring spoon on the floor after stirring the chili and kids keep going outside/coming in every 5 minutes.
Nicki How did you get on with the talk with your daughter? My DD1 had this fascination with the tv channels which show childbirth when she was younger, I let her watch some and we talked about it. But when I explained how babies were made she laughed and said that sounded yuck and that it wasn't true! DD2 was playing at a friends house when friend let her see a book for children about how babies were made. She thought it was hilarious and couldn't stop laughing...
I always try to be honest but it still isn't easy... stefe I had to laugh at your story...0 -
Nikki - i was really honest with DS when he asked (he was about 7) told him a lovely story about how you grow up, leave school, get a job, buy a house and then meet someone you really love and care about. You then get married (although i did have to admit, that i didnt do that bit!!!) and then explained 'what' happens in simplistic, but acurate terms. Because of the story before the nitty gritty bit, i was able to keep the main bit to a minimum, and he accepted what i said. A couple of weeks later, we saw someone on the tv who had about 5 children, and DS said, goodness, that means she had sex 5 times!!!! It still makes me laugh now.
Well, i started the day well, managed to have computer time, make the beds, clean the living room, bathroom, toilet and wipe the kitchen down - but then this afternoon ive come to a bit of a full stop. I have managed to get last years books done, so just need to dig out my tax number so i can submit it online. i also need to make the packed lunches and whip the hoover around, and hopefully by then the DW will be finished so i can empty it.0 -

Hall and stairs now completed. With a complete sort out of shoes inc the trainers DS won't wear as they have laces sorted for my little nephew. Few pairs beyond passing on have been flung! What's left now clear and tidy on the racks, not before I moved the racks and vacuumed behind them of course. Another proud moment as I just kind of stacked them up last week as just didn't feel well enough to tackle it.
Seem to be on a roll at the mo so going to bath DS1 after he's finished eating, then tackle some more of undies mountain! Oh after I have fed the fish and check garden for poop. I went to wash up after dinner and have realised water heater not been on so will have to do that later.
Beany do whatever works for you, I know the list isn't ideal for everyone, just gives starting points for others, inc me sometimes I have to leave things for the weekend myself.
Catowen well done, even if you have come to a stop still have done a lot, and thanks for the giggle, 5 times, my god he must think Pigpen's even crazier with 8! Speaking of which where are you Pigpen!!!!One day I might be more organised...........
