Dito - there's boards I won't go near just cause of the abuse and personal insults, in addition i've been 'harrased' on 2 seperate occassions by one guy firing (30+_pale_ ) pm's at me and refusing to stop, i ended up delting all pm's without reading for ages, they were just filled with really personal abuse.

It's really true if you can't say anything nice you shouldn't say anything atall. (and on that note i was blown away with the fantastic freindly welcome i got on the comps board :grouphug: )

So did you report this pest to abuse then?

add them to your ignore list and oyu wont get anything from them

My main MSE irritations are:

- Being personally insulted/abused for almost no reason, or for putting one's differing opinion across politely & honestly
- Through PMs...being subject to personal abuse, & sent unsolicited illegal software serial codes

Yes that's right, & this post by sra explains the Ignore list a little more. Don't like this about it though: "The user will not be aware that PMs are not being received by you." I rather the ignored user knew that their PMs weren't getting to me. G

My hate, yes it is that strong, are those that shout down all those that do not agree with their opinion, it gets even worse when others join in and its always the same little gang. Although I welcome comments to any suggestions or opinions, they are just that as we have no way of knowing how expert in that particular field the poster is.
