That wasn't an idea Cal, it already exists :rotfl:

It was a question - does the data realistically have to be freely available in the public domain to plug into your app?

I think I've answered my own question.

I have an idea already, what sort of profit split are we talking here? I bring no IT skills, but the idea is golden :D

I no know Ed :( I've had one sentence about it mentioned to me and that has been it, just waiting on lecturer emailing me back.

Lol, profit split on dissertation project? Anything I make while part of my degree technically belongs to the university. So 0/0 split? :rotfl:

    Shattered! :o

Friday - helped friend with internship application, which has resulted in over half a dozen emails this weekend.
Had meeting with potential supervisor - he's my favourite so far by a mile. Organised, and into the same branch of CS as me. Fingers crossed. He's so super-organised that I emailed Wed evening, he replied Friday morning and we had meeting set up for later that afternoon, and now he's going to email me a list of ideas on Monday! He has links with industry, in particular one company who came to do a talk at uni and I fell in love with their work a little, he's going to email them and ask if the had any side-projects they were looking at but hadn't had time for that could be used by a student - woo!

Sat - Ald! shopping, then lunch/dinner with friend and cinema. Nice relaxing day. Went over calories on food but went for walk with friend to balance it out.

Today - Few loads of washing on, caught up with admin-y things, dishes etc. Making spicy mince enchiladas for dinner, with broccoli and asparagus on the side. Had my gym induction today, then spent an hour there, 10 mins on elliptical, 30 mins on bike and 20 mins on treadmill. Shattered but feel good.

Don't know how much I'm going to be on here in coming weeks, everything is starting to get really busy. Gym Tue, Fri, Sun, and Zumba on Wed. Friend's hen night next Friday - eep. And then usual uni stuff, studying, assignments, tests etc. Already behind where I want to be, early start tomorrow.

Hope everyone had a relaxing weekend!

Argh! It's all go go go. Just received the paperwork for the internship, and forms to star applying for visa etc. Costs are mounting up :( Friend, instead of being supportive is just wanting to come with me on visa interview trip and use it as a opportunity go do touristy things. I don't want the extra cost. We don't seem to be able to understand each other's point of view here.
Forms have to be sent away to loads of different people, including getting uni to fill in info and book flights in next week etc.
With all these 'official' forms it's hard not to get daunted and start wondering if I can do it.

Gym tomorrow, shoulders, calves, backside etc still sore from last time :o

    Off to make dinner.

    Hope your Mondays were good!

It's natural to feel daunted, but yes, you can do it! We all know that even if you're not sure of it. :)

Yes you do! You thank the person - which you've just done, and allow yourself to feel encouraged - which I hope you're doing. ;)

    Tiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiired.

    Sleepy_Kitty_by_kchiney.jpg

Gym today, not as good as it could have been, messed up timings so was only there for 40 mins instead of an hour, and didn't burn much. Didn't feel I put as much effort in as before. Zumba tomorrow night so I will rectify!

    Today:
    - Going to get flights on Sunday. Have to go to Glasgow for this so may sneak in some sushi :A
    - Spoke to uni about filling in part of visa form, so that's all prepped to go, I just need to fill it out. Plan to do that tonight, or as much as I can, waiting on info from host company.
    - Assignment handed out, started having a look at that today. I have an idea of what I want to make in my mind, but surprise surprise, all the artwork for the female characters online is... it doesn't give the impression I am aiming for, shall we say. May have to make my own artwork.

Dinner of lemon pepper chicken, mash, and sweetcorn, broccoli, peppers, beetroot and cucumber. S.t.u.f.f.e.d.

Weigh in this week, -2lb, total of -13.4lb for past 6 weeks. Come on Mr Stone!!! Hoping this will speed up with exercise now in the plan.

Hope everyone is well. Have read all diaries, just haven't had time to comment :o Maybe the weekend.
