If you're in that much pain, you burned lots!

Thanks HDK :) Tomorrow is meant to be day 2, but I can't. All I've done today is to have a really hot bath to try and ease muscles, and go out to Ald! and back. I live in a flat and going down the stairs nearly killed me. Even walking around Ald! I was hanging onto OH's arm because my knees kept buckling out underneath me.
I think tomorrow I'm going to have to modify the workout, there are a lot of squat/lower body movements, I can't even sit down and stand up easily right now, so I think I'll stick to exercises where I'm on floor, on weight machines and then the cardio portion, there's a few exercises on the list I can't physically do right now.

    Ow! :o

I can sit on the floor but to get back up again is a challenge, this fitness lark is a killer!

This is the first week I have done something every week and as a result it's been ice on knackered knees and my hamstrings are threatening to divorce me.... But as I have no cartilage left and the orthopaedic consultant won't replace them til I am 60+ ... Fitness was SOOOOO much easier when I had younger limbs!

Thanks. Don't worry, I did take it easier today.

Tell me about it! I just did floor exercises, weight machines and rowing machine but now I have blisters on my hands - oops. I get tomorrow as a rest day before I'm back on Tuesday. Uni work to catch up on though.

Ooft! Since I'm 23 that doesn't bode well for me!

In fairness ... I was a hurdler from about the age of 14 to when I finally had to quit athletics at 30... So my (lack of knees) was 16 years in the making... Or deconstructing to be more accurate!

Flying update before I run away again:

Happy today, have been feeling really stressed recently but feel like I'm getting on top of it. List was made and things are getting checked off.

    - In the midst of two assignments just now, one group work which is always interesting. Group (for the most part) seems really good this year. Meeting today and a lot of progress was made.
    - Gym going well, less sore after each session, can walk and run up stairs as normal again - yay!
    - Visa stuff is all done on my side, just waiting for paperwork from host company.
    - Investment ISA is rattling along without any input needed from me - excellent.
    - Can report a month later that mattress is beautiful and just as comfy as day 1, my insomnia over the winter has disappeared and I don't know if OH snores cause I always fall straight asleep :D
    - 80p away from payout on 1P.
    - ~£20 of Am@zon vouchers sitting waiting for the day I have time to buy and read books.
    - Ahead of target on MFW 14 and MFiT so will need to sit down and do the maths one day.
    - Test worth 20% of grade on Monday, need to get studying for that.
    - Going out for sushi and cinema on Sunday, really, really looking forward to that.
    - Friends want to organise hen night for me _pale_
    - Weight loss trudging along, scales are being really weird so not sure what the real value is, the other day they were reporting anywhere from 5lb gain to 2.2lb loss. Eventually recorded as 0.8lb loss when got static reading 3 times in a row, but scales showing another 1lb loss past few days, will wait til next Tuesday (weighing day) and calculate again.

That's all I can think of for now!

I'm still doing super-speed reads of diaries but I'm really bad at commenting or being logged in the 'thank'. Still thinking of you all
