Tilly
Thanks :j
Considering I need to lose over half of my starting weight, I'm sure you've got plenty of time to catch up :rotfl:0 -
Happy
- Spoke to energy company
- Booked flights to USA
- Emailed bank detail form
- Completed Marriage Notice forms and appointment booked for Friday to hand these in and book Registry Office.
- Phoned about missing parcel.
And now I've forgot the restBut I've had a productive day and feeling good, earlier I was feeling a little swamped/stressed about how much I had to do. One more form to do today, and that can't be fully completed until Friday. Then notes, or I may start on game assignment since that is more fun
Leaving after 6pm for Zumba.
Graze box came today and I am full from snacks
Hope you all had a good day
Cal x
EDIT: Well that's decision made for me, uni servers are down so I can't access notes!0 -
MFW 2014 updated. MFiT updated. Sig updated. Close to 80% LTV!
3rd week of Zumba.
2nd week of gym.
Weight loss now 14.4lb (over 1 stone :j) in 7 weeks.
Uni going okay. Need to stop slacking off
Started on uni assignment - making game, one of the most infuriating, complex and intriguing pieces of code I've ever done. Want to do this well, it would be a brilliant portfolio piece.
Wedding booked, forms submitted and paid for
Still reading and lurking about. Couple of research/voucher group I'm part of end soon, which will be good and free up time.
See you all soooon

I'll do a proper post tomorrow when I can maybe reach my arms to the keyboard without going "ouchouchouchouchouchouchouch".
Sounds like you get great music HDK, half the stuff we get I don't recognise or it's a weird version of something, like the Spanish(?) version of Miley Cyrus' Wrecking Ball :rotfl:
Still, brilliant fun.0 -

Ahaha! Thanks Ed, but not quite! :rotfl:Alchemilla wrote: »You are a human dynamo.
Wedding booked?♡♥♡
I don't feel like a dynamo today, I feel like a wrung-out towelAnd, ironically, I'm allergic to copper.
And yes, wedding is booked, but nothing exciting, just registry office. I'm a simple girl at heart, and way too socially awkward and clumsy for an audience. Proof - in the past 7 days I have spilt three drinks, one peppermint tea, one chai latte and one water, hit my hand off a wall twice, hit my engagement ring off walls/doors etc 4 times, and not even counting the past week, but just today, I tripped over one rowing machine, slid on one water puddle and fell 4 times.

I know I promised a proper update but I am soooo tired.
Looking back I don't think I posted about this, so I will give quick summary now:
Signed up to a 6 week plan with a personal trainer for the pricely student-saving sum of £26This covers:
- one 30 min consultation, take height, weight, BMI (poor), blood pressure (poor), grip strength (poor), lung capacity (excellent
) and waist-hip ratio (average!). Talk about goals and aims of next 6 weeks, what you want to achieve, discuss typical day and general diet.
Then PT makes up a personalised fitness plan of what you should do in gym when you go, based on stats they collected about your fitness level (poor!) and goals.- You meet up for 2nd session, one hour, where they take you through the exercises, show you how to use machines, check your form and give you pointers.
- You meet up for 2nd session, one hour, where they take you through the exercises, show you how to use machines, check your form and give you pointers.
Then you go off and do the program for 6 weeks.
At end of six weeks, you meet up for one last hour session, retake all measurements and compare to first session, and either congratulate you or slap you over the head, I assume
I'm at the point between 2 and 3. Yesterday we tried a few reps of all the different machines and exercises we would be doing. It wasn't even a full on example of what I would do on a normal session, and it killed me. My muscles were screaming, and today I've been hobbling around like an old lady, and taking 5 minutes to get up and down stairs :rotfl:
So what do I do? Go and do my first workout today then! Yaaaay.
Basically, I won't go into the details, but the first section is made up of a bodyweight warm-up (x2), then weight machines /cables /kettlebells etc. Apparently I have a muscle running from my shoulder to my arm, because that one HURTS. I did not know you could get a pain in your armpit! :rotfl:
THEN second section is killer cardio. Warm up on rowing machine, (my favourite :smileyhea) then a 20km cycle. Riiight, cause I'm not done in after the weights stuff..
Half way through the warm up I was like 'I can't do thiiiiiiiis, maybe I should just do one set'. But then I did two. Then weights, 'do I really need to do 3 sets of 12?' But then I did. And finally, the bike. I got 33% of the way in, and wanted to cry. Was seriously thinking I should just do 10km. But then I did the 20km. Felt like I was going to throw up in the last 5 minutes, but I finished.
Now, I can't even moveDriving home was so painful! Moving my foot between the brake and accelerator caused me to impersonate a pirate.
But anyway. Point of that ramble was to say OW, and don't be too surprised if you don't see me around much. Want to know how long the above took me? 3 hours. On one hand I'm proud because I completed it all and I did it, but on the other hand it took SO long, and I know my form was appalling on some of the exercises, so don't know if I should have concentrated on form over quantity. Felt very self-concious being in the part of the gm where the Arnold Schwarzeneggers were. Oh and a lot of the falling over today - that was the gym. Trying to do movements and my legs were so shaky I just kept keeling right over! Whoops.
So yeah, I was so bad, warm-up took 25 mins, then weights/machines took 70 mins (including mandatory rest periods), waiting around on machines took 30 mins, rowing warm-up took 5 minutes (love rowing :heart2:) and 20km cycle took a very slow and agonising 73 mins (and some change).
This weekend I need to:
- Sleep
- Finish visa application and send now that contract for internship has arrived
- Respond to RSVP for wedding
- Notes, notes, notes.
- Ald! veg shop.
- TAKE BREAKFAST MUFFINS OUT THE FREEZER WOMAN
- Probably should use up some freezer contents too...
- Find good ideas for lunches with no reheating facilities
- Code. Code. La la la.
- Finish TV series for film coming out (high priority, obviously)
- Study for test _pale_
- Return Co!!ect+ parcel
- Rest tomorrow, for the hardest of the 3 prescribed sessions on Sunday _pale_ _pale_ _pale_
- Something else? I'm sure there was something else...
Sometimes I think I am too stubborn for my own good.
Hope you are all healthy and happy and all is good in the world of finances. Miss all our catch-ups
Cal xx
ETA: Oh, and an infuriating thing, my app doesn't count calories for anything other than specific cardio exercises so I have no idea what I burned today. Grr.0 - one 30 min consultation, take height, weight, BMI (poor), blood pressure (poor), grip strength (poor), lung capacity (excellent
