Aha, I should know to bow down to your superior wisdom Natty
I'm getting 'told you so's from all angles right now. :rotfl:
You lot would have laughed at me if you could have heard the phone conversation.
Woman phoned up, "Is this Cal?" etc. I said yes, she said she was just looking to get feedback about how I thought the interview went. I immediately say "Ehhh, not very well." She goes "Oh?"
And I launch into how there were technical difficulties and there weren't any questions I expected like competency/hypothetical/strengths etc. And then she says "Well, I'm phoning to let you know X were really impressed with you and want you to join their team as a XYZ Analyst".
Queue me: "Oh...."

Thanks Ed. I've been bad at keeping up with diaries last week but I saw your news, congrats! You must be so happy. For what it's worth, I think you'll make an excellent Dad. Hope Mrs Ed is okay too.
