Manufacturers are finding it easier. Just fit a trip computer that tells you the MPG and adjust it to tell lies :)

You drive around and it says 80mpg, You tell everyone how good it is and whilst your doing that you forget to notice how often your filling it up.
    My favourite is this:
    - My car is great! I get 600 miles on one tank of diesel!
    - How big is the tank?
    - I don't know.

How cynical of you :) I have a choice of 8 if you want to buy a nice cheap reliable car ideal for all the family, Have one each i can do you a good deal :)

I dont have a car yard, I dont sell cars either.

Until recently i was dragging 4x4's out of ditches because the owners thought they were invinceable in the 2mm of snow we had.

I now sell recon turbo units :rotfl:

    Anyone need a focus 1.6 turbo? :A

What use is 1. Do you do a bulk buy discount? That way someone might get 100,000 miles from buying 4-5 at once?

I want an old school diesel next. But it must have 150BHP minimum and do 60+mpg. Under 9 seconds 0 - 60.

    Suggestions ??

My trip computer is accurate +/- 1 mpg on a tank.

If I had the car detuned by over 100 BHP I'm sure I would be able to get 60MPG+ on extra urban and still sub 9.0 secs. As it is I only get 50 MPG with 280 BHP on tap.

Detuned may use more fuel. Mines modified and the average MPG has improved.

Unless i take full advantage of the extra power of course. Is normal driving its better because its more efficient.

Buy 5 for the price of 1, When it blows up you use the next one. Never leaves you stranded :)
