laptop slow...after about an hour

  • Just thinking what has helped me in the past. If I come to site that has video adds running in separate frames I found that that will slow my XP computer down. I solve this in Firefox by using an add on called ADDBLOCK PLUS 2.1.2. I think it can also be added to IE. You can use it to block chosen frames. Its free
  • I am wary of speaking too soon but at the moment my lappy is behaving itself!
    Don't know which part of your guidance sorted things out but all appears ok at the moment.
