Hey! I'm new to this forum so hello all.
I'm in the process of reclaiming charges from Capital One and Barclaycard, however I've noticed reclaiming on store cards and catalogues is possible too, so I'm about to begin claiming from Simply Be and Argos. Just wondering if anyone knew official addresses for either of these companies? My Argos statement seems to have two different addresses on it!
Also, I am a university student and at a different address during term time. Will companies reply to me at my university address, or only where my cards are registered? It will obviously be quicker for me to recieve letters at my term time address, but I'm not sure whether this is possible...
Thanks in advance!0 -

Hello,
I have been trying to claim back some charges from a store card that i used to use. I have received a letter from them telling me that my claim is on hold whilst they review my account. This was 3 weeks ago. Then 2 weeks ago i got a letter from the court on behalf of GE Money requesting I pay all or i am summoned to court. The amount i owe is 500 + court fees. Can someone please advise how to proceed....do i beg steel borrow to pay this or do i disagree with this ( an option on the court papers issued to me). Thanks in advance to anyone who can help.0 -
If you feel this is wrong then disagree with it, only if you feel the amount they are asking for is wrong.
If your in hardship the court should set out instalments to be paid on a monthly basis but worth discussing with them, you could also do a counter claim for your fees which you will need to pay the court fee but you need to consider if it is worth it.No you're not a vegetarian if you eat any animal or fish, so do not insult genuine veggies by calling yourself one!
Thanks to everyone who posts competitions. You are the stars of the board :T:j:T0 -
