A curry I would have bought anyway on a night out on Friday with colleagues, and the cashback has been credited to the account today. MBNA don't seem to offer an email alert when this happens.0

Hey doconner, and other Londoners, can add a few good places, in and around Soho,
Brewer Street
Wok 2 Walk, about £5.20 for a meal
Snog, frozen yogurt
Splash hair cut for £9 (haven't used them myself, not yet anyway)
Original Soho Bookshop
Rupert Street Supermarket, minimum spend £5, though when my partner went they suddenly decided to charge 50p surcharge, grumpy git, haha.
Crompton Street
Hotel Chocolate (also 10% off with Priority moments if you're on o2) They let me split my bill to pay with 2 cards, no problem.
Patisserie Valerie
Various bars and 'specialist' shops around there too, though haven't tried any, so don't know about minimum spends etc.
Shaftesbury Avenue
You've got forbidden planet, no minimum spend, no card fee, and Konditor & Cook at the Curzon Soho.
Closer to Holborn you've got Model Zone, they will let you split you payment. Into Holborn there's Runnersneed, couldn't find anything to buy there. Various food places around there too, my old dutch pancake house, it's a wrap and pod food if i remember correctly, not tried them yet though.
If you fancy a trip our to East Dulwich can give you a list of places I've used there.0 -

Old dutch pancake don't accept AMEX. Went there for the monday £5 offer but had to pay with my mastercard... if they had accepted, it would have been free lunch
I have used it in Spaghetti house in goodge street, Fastoche (pasta place) in Brunswick centre, Mooli's and Dishoom in Covent garden, Sushi Hiroba in Holborn.0 -
A new offer coming next week, spend £50 at one of over 400 retailers in the West End next weekend and you'll get a £25 credit, though you can only get the offer once, (per card), not once per retailer!!
Register in advance and view the full list of retailers at:

Oh no, that happened to be in a flower shop the other day, was a bit annoyed, especially as the paper they wrapped my flowers in had the Amex logo on it! Almost went into My Old Dutch to get a pancake on the way home tonight, thanks for the info0 -
Nothing is in my area though but still good to know this information.AntFrit0

I went into Rupert Street place last week, spent £5.02 - the guy grumbled a bit but didn't charge any extra :-P
Cheers for the Splash tip, didn't realise they were on the deal - but I know they charge 50p for cards.
There's also YuForia on Baek St; plus Venus Wines on Old Compton St; Lina Stores on Brewer St (Italian deli); Leon on Old Compton St; and Brewer St News just next door to Walk to Wok (50p charge).
I think I'll be wondering over towards Mayfair at lunch time today, see what I can find...0 -

Registered for this - thanks for pointing it out. Looks to be a cracking deal - not least as I had stuff I was intending to buy anyway.0
