"For sellers with 400 or more transactions over the past 3 months, the case scores are calculated over the last 3 calendar months. For all other sellers, it's calculated over the last 12 calendar months".
In this instance, wouldn't it be better to sell less things, so you're calculated over the 12 Months?
You are replying to a post made about 2 months ago, I would think if anything bad was to happen it would have happened by now.
As for suggestion, stopping selling would just kill the account as the past 3 months rule is not straightforward and is not an absolute. Also the post gave no indication at all that they were selling that much.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. I wasn't suggesting for them to stop selling!
Selling less or listing less would surely bring the transactions down (to under 400) so would qualify them for the 12 month evaluation rather than the 3 month one,..... No?
Also, i've posted the above info to help others who may be in that position.
I've only just come upon this information myself and think it may be helpful to others.0 -

The problem then would be that it could take several weeks to revert back to a 12 monthly review and meanwhile all the recent results would be poor which still means a restriction.
If selling enough to be in a 3 month review it is probably easier to up the selling and water down the percentage as it wouldn't take much to do so.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Yeah, you've got a point there.0 -

Why not go under 10 a month and stop getting rated at all
Best bet is quantity - so percentages are lower.0 -
I've noticed recently that when I look at the "trending data" the period covered is now 6 months instead of 12. Does this mean we are no longer able to keep track on eBay of when our oldest low ratings are due to expire, or have they just hidden this information somewhere I haven't thought of looking?0

I'm still showing 12 months trending data on both my business and my private accountsI’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. You need to scroll to the left with the scroll bar under the data0 -

Requirements for above standard sellers
Sellers need to minimise the occurrence of 1 and 2 ratings in all categories. If you exceed the allotted number of low detailed seller ratings, your rating and search visibility will be lowered.- For Item as described: You can have no more than 3 occurrences or no more than 1.00% of 1 and 2 ratings
- For Communication: You can have no more than 3 occurrences or no more than 2.00% 1 and 2 ratings
- For Dispatch time: You can have no more than 3 occurrences or no more than 2.00% 1 and 2 ratings
- For P&P charges: You can have no more than 3 occurrences or no more than 2.00% 1 and 2 ratings
You can have low detailed seller ratings in any one category, if your average meets eBay Top-rated seller requirements - Meet the eBay Buyer Protection cases standards:

I've had 368 transactions in the last 3 months, but my Item as described is showing up 1.3% in Red with (4) low marks.
Should i be worried?
Also, is it best for me to stay under 400 transactions?
I'm a bit confused.0 -

Yes you need to be worried anything red is already becoming an issue. What are your usual transaction numbers a year and do you know if you are assessed yearly or 3 monthly already?
