Thank you all for your ideas and comments...
So is it worth fighting here do you think?
To try to get them to reverse their decision?
I don't think i'd be comfortable using them now though, but we really needed that money.
Is there a viable alternative to paypal that people would use and trust when buying from me on ebay?
Is it worth going down the data protection route, as i really want to know why this happened. Would this mean i deserved a full explanation?
i am planning to write to them, will post copy of letter on here, would like opinions on the wording, if it sounds reasonable etc.
This really is like a bad dream. Still can't quite believe this has happened to me!:heart2::heartpuls:heart2: I WOULD NOT CHANGE MY AUTISTIC DAUGHTER FOR THE WORLD

I got these details off the FSA website. It might be worth sending copies of letters to various places. I was looking for the name of the cheif exec for you but am still looking. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -

The fact that PayPal are listed on the FSA website makes the route below worth a shot:

Imagine the furore if a high street bank (NatWest, Barclays etc.) did this "We're keeping your money but not allowing you access to it and we're not telling you why". TBH, I'd be straight on to my MP!I only exist in my own mind - if you can see, hear or read me, you are a product of my imagination.0 -
Can I just add that I amshocked by this. Give them 14 days to repay your money or you will take them to court. you can do so via moneyclaimonline and it costs £30 - I know this might be alot for you to find at the moment but it is so easy. There is no way the court will ever find in their favour as it is your money. Disgusting. take them to small Claims court and get your money back - I had mine from the damn Phone company within 2 weeks after 8 months of waiting. I cannot imagine they would try to fight over £400 but if anyone else has an opinion on this. She has the proofs of postage, the orders via eBay to show the money entered her account and the bank statements to show the money was not withdrawn. Also add on the money for phone calls and also interest. Don't back down and get someone t help you, it really is so easy and 5-10 minutes to fill out the form. but give them 14 days and send the letter by Special Delivery. And mean what you say, after 4 days fill in the form online, they will get the court papers within 48 hours and the court will give them a date within to either go to court and fight it or pay you bac. Good luck and chin up, take each day as it is.
