Just an update on my progress, nationwide finally received the correct valuation on Monday and my mortgage has been in the final stage of the process ever since, nationwide did ask for a certain form but my financial kindly informed them that this had been sent along with all documentation when the application was submitted, but she sent them another copy anyway. Hopefully gonna hear something tomorrow or Monday, how long can't it actually take to check a few bits of paper.0

Our vendors are getting anxious becauses there hasn't been a valuation yet. Followed up through MA today...Nationwide still havent taken payment for the valuation
Nearly three weeks now.

Well I had a few more texts. One saying valuation
booked for thursday on Monday this week.
And another today saying valuation satisfactory
Geeez I'm getting worked up. The estate agents
for my house haven't booked the valuation
yet! There's me going 100 miles per hr.
By A week next monday, I'm praying for my
Valuation to be completed and the mortgage offer....
I'm learning patience here :-)
Any more news for the rest of u all?
I know exactly how u all feel :-/0 -
Finally got an offer sorted, after waiting for 5 weeks for Nationwide to arrange valuation and survey, another week to read a survey report and finally another 3 weeks to issue mortgage offer:mad:0

OMG I can't believe it has taken them 3 weeks to issue an offer, I thought mine would be coming through soon after waiting 1 week. I don't think I can take the stress of waiting another 2 week.0

what upset us most is that whenever we chased them they always had some silly excuses - our survey booking system is not working and we cannot call the surveyor (?!).... the system has been fixed, but now we are behind by 7 days.... after 7 days - we are still behind with processing by another 5 days.... we promise we will escalate it today...tomorrow....Monday...Friday  we got the best deal through them, but not sure if we would go with Nationwide next time:undecided0

An update on my progress. Offer has been received. So that took 13 days from application to the offer being issued and then a few days for it to arrive in the post.0
