Hope all goes well for you.. buying a house is stressful isn't it! Are you hoping to be in for Christmas? That'll be lovely for you! I really want to move mid December if possible, depends how fast nationwide can move!
Thanks. Before Christmas would be ideal. Let's hope for our sakes Nationwide are on the ball.0 -
Hi all
I also put a full application n for a nationwide mortgage 5 weeks ago. Everything was running smoothly until the valuation last week. The surveyed missed the whole section out regarding new build ( it's a new build house) so it was sent back to be re done. I've had contact from my financial advisor to say it has been sent back to the surveyor a second time as they had used " incorrect wording". Is this normal and as anybody else had this problem?
Thanks

I applied with Nationwide middle of August ,it took 8 weeks to get the offer sent out0

Hi Guys,
Had the lovely text message from Nationwide saying full mortgage application recieved! Let's hope it all moves quickly now! :-)0 -
I went through a broker last time and I got the texts. Nationwide specifically ask if you want them so your broker will ask you. They are really handy although this time I got all 4 on the same day! LOL
Caeler, i'm jealous! i only had 2 texts today, one saying mortgage product being reserved and another saying application submitted...... ... i cant wait for the ..valuation booked, valuation complete and mortgage offered texts.. :rotfl:
Can i sleep until this is over :eek:0 -
An update on my situation.....nothing to update LOL!
Mortgage advisor is away on holiday and it seems we weren't signed up for text alerts so no news at all yet.I'm hoping to hear something before the end of the week....2weeks 3 days since paper application sent.0
