Debit card and credit cards canceled - who needs them anyway! Pah!!!
Aww that sucks, it's such a pain in the butt sorting new cards and wotnot.
Since I had little choice but to to spend money on greaseproof paper today I wrecked my brains to think of anything else I might buy that would save me a spend another day. I could think of nothing, except licorice allsorts.Could have been a lot worse.

Morning Chickadees....
WantToBeSE - ha ha ha ha haaaaa! Thats all I have to say on the matter!
I am wondering is it too weird to have a peshwari naan pizza that I made the other day for breakfast having just had a massive bowl of semolina, banana and cuppa..? No I didn't think so.. I have two with me as well!!!
Well then... today has to be a spend day! I have managed to sell something miniscule again on eBay last night so need to post that off... that other £12 purchase has not been paid for so will be sending a friendly reminder that I can't go to the post office everyday and would "appreciate immediate payment"...
I need to get a few basics at Mr T tonight.. I will be aiming for around a 7pm visit as this is when they reduce the "fresh" cookies in my area. I might have to get a few boxes...:D
Another batch of schloooop might be on the cards as well. I cannot believe I have gone through 500g of cheese though... it can go on everything though and that's BAD!! Pitta pockets will be purchased for easy peasy pizza and peppers to pad my fajitas...( got the wraps from AP and they have been in the freezer for ages )...
May I also add it is not couscous I have in my cupboards but bulgar wheat.. and only two boxes left as I managed to give two to my landlady! But I do have multiple packets of grubby pasta shells... bluuuuurgh! Used to love them as a child though - not any more!
Anyway - enough about food! How is everybody today then eh??“Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. I actually got as far as almost entering my details at checkout...then closed the laptop and walked away, £0 spentI found a LOVELY dress, but i just cant justify spending any money whatsoever, especially this close to Christmas.
After all, there will be other sales on next year.
.....And breathe :rotfl:0 -

well done wanttobesei was trying type some smilies but bizarrely, my laptop is changing all the capital letters to lower case so i just get a series of small letters and colons! weird!!! good for you though, your life will still be just as rich without the dress, and you've saved yourself from kat's shouting (although, I think that's the first time I've seen her use red bold capitals - she was shouting at the top of her voice!!)

Thanks Siouxsie, i am realy glad i didnt cave in. It's only a dress, and there are plenty more that i wont buy...all is good0

WantToBeSE - well done! I think once you have paid everything that needs to be paid you buy a dress for yourself that is not in the sale just because you can! Well done on your strength of character.. this is testament that we are in control! I was only shouting nicely though in shrieky kinda of jokey way...with paws against ears and shaking my whiskers...
I don't want anyone to fail where they are in control - something are beyond our control. Buying a dress is not. Well done on money saved!!!“Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence. I am experimenting again for dinner tonight and chuffed with myself, OH was saying he was going to go shopping as we needed some bits and I said...NO...I can make dinner with what we have, we have plenty!! YESSSSSSSS so pleased with myself as like I said before I'm not great at doing this. So I'm going to make a lovely salmon and leek risotto. Yummy! Should be able to do it without buying anything, but may need some more risotto rice. He has left pennies incase i need to though, does this count as a spend? .....*awaits wet sponges* ........I didn't ask him to, I think he's so darn chuffed at my new attitude to being frugal. Let me know if I can have this one, the only other thing I'm doing is posting ebay parcels which are already paid for :-)Don't turn a slip up into a give up
