Thanks Thriftylass. Sometimes you just need a 'proper chocolate' hit, you know?
Trying very hard not to cave in. Think i may treat myself to a bottle of beer from the pantry instead, and make some choc chip cookies.
Have changed into my PJs, so i wont be bothered to get changed and go to Tesc0 (hopefully).

I know EXACTLY what you mean WantToBeSE, there is no substitute! I once drove to the local garage at 2am in my PJs to get a Magnum ti stop the craving...it was during the night so I had to ask for it at the window :rotfl:

I finally got off my butt and got some cooking done - made some yummy lentil and carrot soup (3 portions for the freezer and one already in my tummy :D) and I have stuff in the fridge for a Quorn Sausage and Chickpea casserole later - if I can be bothered to wash the soup pots and pans.

I can't remember if I've already declared for today, but if not, it's NSD number 10 :j

Sorry didn't mean to pick your post in particular, just as an example that reminded me of similar posts. Why are you all eating different meals? Or is that just what you have left in fridge freezer. Sorry just curious.

In answer to your question, Ds2 and 3 are on the autistic spectrum and have very particular food tastes and are very very fussy lol.

All have school dinners but ds2's school meals are rubbish and not a proper meal and not enough to feed a growing nearly 15 year old.

Although ds3 has school meals it is on a rotation of two different meals and that's all he will eat at school.

I don't particularly want to eat what they are eating half the time, so bulk cook myself meals so that it doesn't take much to put a meal together for me.

Dd has a school dinner but often they run out of one of the options and she is left with something she really doesn't like...and she is not that fussy lol. For example today the roast had all gone so she didn't like vegetable samosas, so ate a breadstick and the pudding. I usually just cook her something one of the boys is having so I know she is eating enough (she does a lot of sport and activities).

Sorry very long answer to your question...:D

Ps. After doing this for many many years I'm used to it and don't really think about it any more

Pps. They normally all will eat the same pudding (no surprise there:rotfl:)

Wont hit the 25 unfortunately as i had another spend day yesterday for xmas - although only xmas pressies bought :D. Had a panic as realsied i needed to order some stuff for delivery and i am away for a week at the end of the month - sunny Cape Verde sun-smiley.gif which is all inclusive so no spends there. But realised might be too late to order when i get back in time for xmas deliveries etc so had to forgo a spend day on sunday :o but on the the plus side most of shopping completed and some early 2013 birthday pressies bought also as i intend to be saying NO for a long time to come. no-no-smiley.gif

Struggling this afternoon...really have a 'want to blow the budget' mood on at the moment..argh :(
I think its because its my time of the month and i am just craving chocolate and junk food.

Can totally relate to this today. Just about to grab a recedes peanut butter cup (bought before this NOvember). Maybe we're all gonna synchronise. We seem to do this at work - being an all female department.

Kat, I think my irritation with my folks may be hormonal too! I'm not moving out immediately but hope to have enough cash for a deposit by late April. At a push maybe Feb, as my bank does a 95% mortgage for ft buyers. Ideally do want to save 10% though.

Am on to NSD 8. Felt a bit tempted today when driving past a chazzer shop. They had lovely coat in the window. As if I haven't got enough of them!

My tabby is fairly affectionate, though she has a little nip and bite now and again!

Hahaha, god help the men taking part in this challenge if that happens!! At least they'll learn which week to avoid us :D

Going to look for a caramel shortbread recipe later, and hope my choc craving disappears.
