Just put some books on Amazon and need to put some empty perfume bottles on ebay (apparently they sell quite well!).

Was also wondering if anyone knows of the best place to sell DVDs. Have got 6 to sell.

Now to cook. I've been on the net for hours! :(:(
  • Just checking in to report the third nsd of the month. So far so good. I was particularly pleased when we went out for a walk to our local high street (very small), and everyone else in my family spent their money while I bought nothing.
Got home and made a huge pot of butternut squash and lentil soup either for dinner tonight or lunches into next week. Have also prepared all the veg etc ready for chicken dinner tomorrow night (as long as hubby remembers to put it in the oven for me while I'm at work).
Quite pleased at how much I'm planning and thinking before I spend/arrange a spendy night out etc.

I'm on an accidental NSD 4... Speaks volumes ha ha.

Go go people! (lurking and cheering, it's the best way to go)
  • Well hello to you all.. I am literally on NSD number 4. I feel however my joy is somewhat shortlived as I will have to hit the shops tomorrow...I am on my 4th NSD by the way. This, by the skin of my teeth because my cat is nearly out of food. She unfortunatly does not grasp how an NSD works, nor will she get off her fluffly tabby rear-end and help by catching her own dinner. So, unless I get a donation from somewhere ( not likely ) I will have to break a crisp £2 coin and make my first spend of NOvember..

The weather has been what can only be described as horrific. I took great glee in staying indoors today and letting the landlady's Dalmatian walk itself into the back garden. Funny she didn't stay out to long..

Lozzy81 - don't despair. If all goes to plan I shall be initiating you all back into another thread come January. I think it would be too hard to do anything in December but with so many thread already going to hit the fore in Jan I need to be super inventive with the next one! Hmmm now I am thinking!! Great to have you on board.. you can drift along with us, cheerlead, post and generally contribute anyway. Just this far in ( missing 4 days ) means too much of an NSD depletion.. but fear not.. you will be personally invited to the next thread..so [STRIKE]watch out[/STRIKE] welcome...:p:p:p

Abundant1971 - when you say Thursday is a day off does that mean a day of work or a day off NSD's... I think you might be allowed to spend a little something on your 40th birthday..?:) Counts your books please, report back how many unread ones there are...?

Skintsue -a house without milk is a house without tea. This is an unhappy house as far as I am concerned. And I never take risks with dairy products!!

KiwiSaver - I LOVE apple and blackcurrant pie. Well done you on channeling your inner domestic goddess...

Wannabee - how did the day fair with the kiddies out and about? Who won?

GelMC - hello and well done on your first NSD. Even more so on the money deposited. I would suggest selling anything and everything you can get your mitts on... people buy empty perfume bottles?? There is a thread on here about the weirdest things people have sold so i will try dig it out for you.. I am currently attempting to flog a wooden spanking paddle... :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Moving on... I shall await more posts to reply.
A massive WELL DONE to every bodies efforts so far! I know we are all in different circumstances, households differ in size and numbers, and people work differently, some even can't work... but I really feel that we are a proper little money-grabbing, debt-slaying, ruthless bunch of campers and we are a TEAM!!! :T:T:T

Another NSD for me today so that makes 2 so far, not too bad, I have cooked all manner of things for the freezer, still more to do, but 6 lots of spag bol, 4 beef and red wine stew, and son and I had it for tea too, it was lovely and I feel completely stuffed at the moment, we worked it out, the stew for 6 portions came to about £5 so I am pleased with that, the spag bol will work out at about £5 too, so definitely saved some money there. Tomorrow is curry and chilli, I meant to do it today, but to be honest I really CBA lol I have all of the ingredients in, so if I feel up to it, I may chuck a load into the slow cooker and do it overnight.
:) Been here for a long time and don't often post
