Woo hoo!! High five Miss Kat, less than 24 hours since you launched the challenge and there are 10 people signed up

    :j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j <<< us on 30 November :D

Yes, it'll be tough, but it's just one month out of our lives. I realise it's much harder for those with families, but kat's right, it could be a lot of fun!

    Let the countdown begin.......

Count me in. I'm nopt in debt but am trying to save to avoid possible debt in the future. I want to save £300 in November. I'm not sure how many NSD's I'll go for 7.

WELCOME.... nice to have you along. You have a number. But remember...25 NSD's minimum...:D.. You have about the amount I want to save too.. although that will be going straight to a debt in my case...

Ninja- have edited my original post to include food budget.

I am, without a doubt , eating better, as are the kids. I had no choice really as i found myself jobless...but i won't go back to spending that much on food again!!
  • count me in, already decided to only £100 to spend on food this month as food cupboard's groaning due to AF orders, and really need to pull back spending as getting out of control, have all the beauty stuff i need and alcohol!! so 25 NSD here i come....good luck everyone!

Can you drop this by £100 please? I know its more so than mentioned.. how many are you cooking for..? ..seriously get your thinking cap on and create some horrificly yummy weird concoctions...

OK challenge accepted, I will not buy unnecessary items this month and hopefully it will be a new habit I am forming. In fact I am sure I can do this, I will do this there is no stopping me now :T i feed 4 adults, but my son eats enough for two ha ha,he has lots of batch cooked food already in the freezer, curries, chilli, shepherd pie, pasta meals etc so I won't actually be cooking for him this month until later on. He works odd shifts so it means there is something he can grab and go with to work.

Onward and upwards, I will not be beaten.
:) Been here for a long time and don't often post

Ok I'm in! I'll need to update my food/spends/direct debit figures tomorrow once I've checked my work diary which also holds my social calendar.

Just failed at the first hurdle though....dashed into the kitchen all excited to bake cakes and stop my snack spends...and my hand mixer broke!!!! I have a kenwood though so make do and mend!

    Edit: Updating for my spends...
£52 pre organised spends (2x birthdays, fireworks party, children in need, 2x netball umpires fees)
£120 diesel (though I MAY get £20 of this back)
£40 food (already have cupboards/freezer full)
    £163 direct debits
    £40 school dinners
    £37.50 school photos

    Wish me luck!!!!
Nothing to report as yet...give me a minute...!
