i dont need anything part from petrol so should be good till end of the month :) x
    :)Still searching .....:)
  • Yay NSDs 18 & 19 in the bag!!

My next spend day now will be Saturday but I will only be picking up fruit and veg for the week and I have a voucher for Mr A so hopefully it will be all done under £10 meaning there will be £30 left over for the debt repayments account :D

I've ordered my free graze box too, this should come in Tuesday and I can't wait! I'm going to get the free one and the half price one and then cancel it. Has everyone else found this easy enough to do?

2 more non spend days to report.
Certainly more NSD's than SD's this month, so even if I did fall by the wayside now (AND I PROMISE I WON'T), I've proved I can do it.
It will have to be a spend day tomorrow - fresh fruit and veg required. Any more lentils, broad, baked and runner beans and I'll be lucky if I have a pulse.:rotfl:
I've dug out 2 vouchers (1 for £5 for McCains, and another for Persil (£3) so I will top up the washing powder, and get some more washing up liquid as well.

Christmas pressy making is going well - knitting, sewing and card making stuff all over the house in various stages of completion. :) Any ideas on how to knit a LapTop for my teenage relations, or sew an i-pod? I've had a disaster trying to bake an X-box ;).

Loads more stuff to get onto e-bay ASAP. I'm horrified how much I have that is unlikely to ever be used now. Best to get it out of the way, and make something (anything) for it rather than have it cluttering up the house and being a reminder of better times of being more healthy, and wealthy.

    NSD 17 for me today:)

KAT : my son is 11, he loves lifts, information about retail chains (when first founded, how many stores etc) and crying Japanese babies:D He quite often looks them up on youtube....it's amazing what people put on there!!

Good day today and managed to use up some bits from the freezer for dinner, will probably make twinks and crumblies tomorrow as dd is on an inset day and she likes to help me bake:) hopefully they will last the weekend. Also will be making lasagne for tea.

Won't be going any where this weekend as we are all tired still from last weekend and just want some chill out time, may take the kids to the park on Sunday though.

  • LoveFilm Dvds arrived again yesterday....Resident Evil 5 and Final Destination 5.. treats! One more run and should have The Walking Dead then I am going to cancel it..

SuziTiger.. is your place really that bad? I would seriously weigh up the cost of moving to a place where your landlord / flatmates will not be as considerate if you lose your job? This is a seriously cool couple who let you do that!!!! Secondly you could land yourself with a bunch of weirdos.. who steal your food, invade your space etc..Would they let you sort out the repairs and they could just pay for it .. you should put it to them as you are super savvy MSE..? Can I ask how much your rent is...now I am intrigued..?
I didn't even know there was a resident evil 5!! Amazing, the game is mint!
You can be as nosey as you like :p I live in central Newcastle and pay £250 a month, this is for a palatial 1bed flat shared with my OH. We pay £500 between us. I pay £50 a month towards the rent debt or more when I can afford it. Nearly paid off though now :D
Sighhhhh, you are right of course, they are the best landlords I have ever had, such a rare thing, the house is pretty bad and needs alot of work. No-ones house is perfect but this one does need alot of work. no double glazing, cracked windows, mouldly walls, leaky bath and bad drains, VERY damp kitchen, slugs are our unathorised tenants and still nothing done about the hallway that flooded in August...:rotfl:
There's more but I'm getting boring talking about the house.
However, I've painted the wall today with the base coat and hoping to finish it tomorrow. So very happy with that :T
    Don't turn a slip up into a give up:D
