Suzitiger and NSK, yes I take it personally too if they unwatch. Two dared to do that today
.
NSK, I was tempted by the match.com cashback too and I have a partner and child, lolDEBT 02/25: total £6100 Debt free date 12/250 -
Right Thrifty.. shall we do it together..? I think that has to be an easy £23 .. Put your childs picture up there and you shouldn't get many responses.. job done!!..:rotfl:I was naughty yesterday.. I went to my wee meeting despite assuming the weather would be atrocious ( it had subsided in time ).. but I had to walk past a large, very well known newsagent and bought a magazine..
I'M SORRY!!!... it was £6.99.. I AM SO SO SORRY! But I HAVE to confess!!
It was the Winter copy of BURLESQUE BIBLE and if you are concerned, don't be, it was well invested. I am considering a career change...:T:T:T
I am on target for another NSD today though AND will hit my 25 for the month easily!!! I still have £41.33 left in my "designated" money following £24 for a train ticket ( pre-planned ) and £5 for last nights soiree ( pre-planned )...SO.. not all bad I think..
I have a girlfriend over for lunch / chats / cinema on Saturday. Cinema is paid for through my Cineworld monthly rate but she and I usually eat well when we get together at each other's house.. now do I buy something to supplement what I have or make do and mend..
I'm gonna make do and mend thank you very much!!!.. I am tempted to use my £1.33 for some sort of "el'cheapo" salad creation... We shall see, I might remain strong...:T..anyone else feeling a serious overload of carbs / pasta / noodles..? I am craving fruit.. Thank goodness I have some oranges left.. 4 with me today........#obsessed!
I am tempted to create a Twitter account...daily postings to remind folk to ***AVOID STARBUCKS***.. and save their money.. whaddya think..? Perhaps I need to get out more eh..?
December is coming along nicely... oh hang on... need to write something down for it.....

I'll be busy tonight, but I might have a read through the T&C tomorrow and might go for it
P.S. Just checked, you need to take out a months subscription and then hope for the cashback of £24. The free trial (sign up) only gets you £3 ;(

Thrifty - not worth the hassle and the amount of info you will need to provide.. that and the weirdos you might attract if you decided to use your real details...
I just got an email from Cotswold Outdoors.. my 10% discount has been credited back to my account for the rucksack and other bits Mumsu bought for me.. I feel better now. My back doesn't though so it needs to arrive quick sharp..
LoveFilm Dvds arrived again yesterday....Resident Evil 5 and Final Destination 5.. treats! One more run and should have The Walking Dead then I am going to cancel it..
Searching_Me - how was your Zombiethon?? but I remember my mother going mental at the amount of milk my brother would go through...and bread "..
Lily - I will let you sign yourself up....But I might not use that proposed name if you don't mind!
SuziTiger.. is your place really that bad? I would seriously weigh up the cost of moving to a place where your landlord / flatmates will not be as considerate if you lose your job? This is a seriously cool couple who let you do that!!!! Secondly you could land yourself with a bunch of weirdos.. who steal your food, invade your space etc..Would they let you sort out the repairs and they could just pay for it .. you should put it to them as you are super savvy MSE..? Can I ask how much your rent is...now I am intrigued..?
Jamie .. I remember doing some camporees through my church for children and adults with special needs. One kid who was 11 years old was obsessed with drawing washing machines.. he loved them! I think Autism is fascinating and studied it to a degree at Uni... if we could all learn to be happy with the simpler things in life we'd be much better off...
...Oooh another guy who was an adult new all the Arriva bus schedules off by heart! So impressive - there are thousands!!!! How old is your boy?
Right... I gotta get ...ahem.. more done!

Hi everyone!!
I have been keeping up-to-date with all the going-ons but I haven't had time to post.
Sadly, I won't be reaching the targets of 25 NSDs. I'm disappointed as some spend days have been for a loaf of bread or milk here and there. But, lessons learned, I need to be more organised for December and January's challenges (sign me up Kat!). I need to have a look at how many no spend days I've achieved and also how much I've spent and will update at the end of the month.
On a more positive note, I think this may be the first month in a long, long time that I wont be falling into my planned overdraft so I'm really happy, it's come at a great time - just before Christmas. I also have lots of items on ebay which are due to end this weekend so I will be putting ALL profits towards my negative wealth.
Thank you to everyone so far - you are all so inspiring and all of the tips, tricks and motivation has absolutely helped this month. Kat, thank you. I can't wait for the next challenge.

I'm not so much concerned about the mag but more the meeting about wee :rotfl:
Today is definitely my big shop day. As Mr As are doing their £5 back from £40 shop and I worked out my shopping (with some xmas goodies) is going to be £60+ I'm going to split my list into 2, add some xmas alcohol (for gifts) and make 2 x £40 shops (I'll take a trolley and Hubby takes one too) Then I can use the £5 off my next two weeks worth of shopping, making sure I get them to just over £40. Will also mean less spends required in December for xmas.
Then hopefully no spends needed til a week on Friday. To finish this NOvember challenge on a high, I'm going to get 7 NSDs in a row starting from tomorrow!:D0 -

I'm sure I reach at least half that though, if I take everything into account from presents for DS, BF, parents (not even last minute or extravagant ones), HM hampers for close friends (made the expensive option again including limoncello with vodka, tapenade etc rather than just cookies), the goose and all the trimmings, wine. Plus I organise i.e. pay for most of it myself rather than between me and BF. After this challenge I want to be a bit more orgnised for next year and start even earlier so I get better deals on pressies etc.DEBT 02/25: total £6100 Debt free date 12/250 -
