  • Check you all out fessing up to your spend days! :T:T:T

I am glad so many people are back to check in.. Abundant I applaud your "house" down-shifting. There is a thread on this board where I couldn't overlook someone who was spending £1500 on their rent but complaining about their £40k debt.. he has yet to respond to my comments...

Its hard leaving somewhere you love.. and my goodness I should know. I have moved 9 times.. this time I hope to be here for a while... Abundant you clearly had in mind a "needs must" attitude so well done. I am sorry this is leading to the aforementioned depression rearing its ugly head but in the house you described its no wonder.. really hope things get better...

Thrifty I know how annoying it is for people to watch your product and not bid. I have a few watching at the moment and am re-listing some things week after week that people just watch.. I wish they wouldn't bother. And yes I take it personally when they unwatch,...:D:D:D

So I had a NSD despite buying my much needed my new rucksack and added a few pennies towards a waterproof lining and some discounted socks.. ( I have none ).. all done through Topcashback and Mumsy paid for it all...:T

I am now ready for the Zombie Apocolypse and at least my feet won't get cold while I run away!

Am tempted to do 1 month subscription to Match.com for the £23 cashback..:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:...but for no other reason whatsoever..!!! :D

Okay i got a few things to do. will be posting more later.. just gonna mark up another NSD. Tempted to blow it though for Tesco cheese puffs! Grr! ..( I won't I won't I promise )

    Onwards and Upwards..

    Evening guys,

Afraid today turned out to be a spend day after all, so will not manage my 25 NSD this month.

School phoned to say ds3 had an accident and banged his head really hard, I had to go and collect him and take him to A and E, all checked over and he is ok although I have to keep an eye on him for 24 hours. Unfortunately had to spend in the hospital car park but didn't mind too much as he needed to be looked at. It was quite a scary experience for him as he autistic, so for being so brave I asked him if he would like a small treat and he asked to go in the lift at the new sainsburys that opened today in our town bless him. So I took some money out of my happy cash and took him and dd to sainsburys and went for the ride in the lift and treated them to a cake in the cafe there.

Never mind eh. Onwards and upwards....

I think I will come in at 24 NSD this month which isn't bad at all....

Thanks guys, he was really beside himself with joy to go in the lift, especially when he found out it was a 'Kone'. Lol. He knows all the makes of lifts, and when we were in Birmingham at the weekend, we took a video of the lift in our hotel to show him when we got home (no interest at all in the canal boats lol).

I often find his pleasure in simple things quite inspiring....

That is not bad at all,I don't think I am going to make 25 either but not for such justified reasons as yours, AND so sweet that for his treat he just wanted a ride in the lift :) awwww.

I take it personally when they unwatch too, I'm like 'why did you DO that??!' hahahaha
Wow 1500 rent ...that can only be London surely. I would definitely be in a houseshare if I was in London, the rent can be killer!!
The OH and I are thinking the same too, its not like we pay much rent but I am looking to cut corners everywhere, and we can get a nicer house for less money further out of town, plus I like to walk so its no biggie :rotfl:
Our current flat is huge and in a great location but it is so old and needs so much work, the landlords are lovely but they are chilled out hippy types which means that the flat is...well...we have slugs in every damp corner and I think the mice are back again! Everything needs fixing, has done for months, they are 'getting round to it'. It is infuriating but when I had no job for 3 months they let me not pay the rent until I was back on my feet, so that was SUCH a lovely gesture I don't feel we can complain. I am still paying back the rent arreas anyway now, they are my priority debt, I can't wait to fully repay them.
Phew, sorry for the rant there....it just all came out :rotfl:

I got another NSD today, bringing me up to 14, I won't get one tomorrow as I have to buy some paint to finally finish some decorating, it is coming off my rent arreas though which is good. I politely said I wanted it done before Xmas, not exaggerating, I've been patiently waiting since September :rotfl:and my parents are coming to visit in two weeks so it can't wait for my sanity's sake :D

How has everyone else been today?
