NSD all the way since having to take DD to hospital on Thursday and paying for parking, drinks and something to eat.
Totally prepared for the next day, so that was a NSD - except for the chocolate which I was given the money for.
Saturday, Sunday and Today are also NSD's.:j
Used the milk from the freezer for drinks and breakfast, frozen bread for toast for my lunch and butties for OH.
Dinner tonight was Jacket spuds, tuna and mayo (all stuff already in store).
Tomorrow's dinner will be chunky soup made with left overs from Sunday's roast (again already had the stuff in).
Wednesday's will be Kedgeree - smoked hoki portion poached in milk/water, boiled rice and a handful of peas.
It's getting to be a bit of a challenge now to find interesting meals which are still wholesome.
We still have some frozen homegrown fruits to make into puddings - apple crumbles, apple pies, mixed fruit tarts.
Besides the bonus of saving pounds in my pocket by not shopping as much, I am also losing pounds from myself.
Because I'm not popping into the shops as often, I'm not picking up nibbles for the family, so I'm not having anything 'extra' even though I don't get anything for myself.
I'd better start putting money together to buy some new smaller clothes at this rate.:beer:I divorced my First Husband on Religious Grounds:A

That's awful Rachel - and if they are college age, then they're old enough to know better. I can't believe they think it's OK to go into your purse and take money - I'd a) never have dreamt of doing that to my parents and b) would've been killed if I had done!
Foot down - tell them it's not on & stops now. If it happens again, then xx will happen (not sure if they get pocket money? but that could be stopped - treats etc etc - something that they'd really miss).Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)

hello all.
After yesterday's xmas spends, I'm staying in this lunchtime so a NSD for me today.
Already started on next week's menu and shopping list and even a list for xmas food as we usually buy in way too much food. Going to buy something each week so we don't feel the pinch by doing a huge shop come Christmas.0 -
Even though I havnt joined in with this challenge I am still very inspired. And I have money left in the bank this month with it being a 5 week month this is very unusual. Was meant to go to a gig last night but was ill outside the venue - so sold my tickets for £30 for the pair - £6 profit and won £5 on a euromillions ticket which I bought weeks ago.
Save £2 a day tin started yesterday and put £8 in so far.0 -
Another NSD for me today making that 16 so far.
Didn't feel much like pudding tonight, so will have it tomorrow.
Have made up a lime jelly for the kids pudding tomorrow. ds1 is staying over tomorrow so will have to think of something for him to have, I will be having shepherds pie again.
Will be staying in studying tomorrow so will be another NSD:) going well so far this monthNovember NSD's - 70 -
Another couple of NSDs for me 16 and 17!! Feeling really proud of myself. I'm really enjoying seeing my debt repayments account balance go up, up, up!!
Does anyone have any ideas of how I can make more money?? I looked into a second job however because I currently work shifts, this makes it really difficult getting suitable hours at a second job. I have ebayed literally everything I own haha so that's that out of the window!! What does everyone else do to make more money?? How do these survey sites work, should I sign up? And if I should, then to which one?!?
Any ideas appreciated!!

I'm up to NSD 14 and it looks like I'm not going to reach the full 25 NSDs, which frankly I'm a bit disappointed about. When I have spent during the week it has been a minimal amount in order to buy a few bananas so I think I am learning and I'm no longer going mad in the supermarket aisles. Althought the prognosis is that I could do much better.
:(:(:(
I'm looking forward with anticipation to what KAT has got planned for a debt easing December and can't wait for Saturday for the big reveal!
Good luck to everyone else with their forthcoming NSDs. I'm looking forward to tomorrow as I'm going on a course in Manchester so I'll have a taste of freedom away from the classroon, yay! :T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T0 -
EVENING ALL!!!
Great to hear everyone is hitting those NSD's with a big stick. Candy I will message Killer and ask her to inbox you some links, she is signed up to everyone you can think of but may need your name and email address. They are the easy way to make money but its monotonous... if you stay in, don't go out and save money then you could do loads of them in front of the TV.. Killer has been hitting them since she was 17...:rotfl:
I am keeping this short as I want to inbox some people that I haven't seen on here in ages. At the weekend I will be updating the "money spends" that people have made but looking at your signature....
But I am curious as to why the thread is missing some folk so I need to check on my chickadees...
More postings later!!!!

Another NSD today. Easy when you don't even leave the house - except to empty the bin and feed the wormery.
I didn't see a soul all day, and didn't even get any cold callers offering me solar panels, reclaiming PPI, Personal Injury Lawyers or double glazing.
