  • The fact this guy repeatedly refuses to provide location details makes me smell a rat. If the OP wants help, then whats the big secret? The stubborn refusal to provide details prevents any real assistance being provided, so one wonders at the whole point of posting in the first place.

    A very odd first post...
One important thing to remember is that when you get to the end of this sentence, you'll realise it's just my sig.

Complaint to BPA using their AOS Enquires and Complaints form in their website.

    Your member - Parking Eye
    claimed incident date 12/10/2012
They have sent me a charge notice for parking in the public highway. ANPR pictures they sent me on the notice show this clearly.

Appealed for immediate response and end to the harrasment by email and by telephone. No response.
If you are a reputable organisation you will respond immediately. Please act immediately.

Link to this BPA site for those who follow in the future. Idea is that my posts and advice given by contrinbutors follow the experince so other are better informed. Can't post links as a newbie. Coz i'm bad?

Sorry as tried to save was informed I can't include links in my posts as a newbie. Involvement over then.

    But accurate.
I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.

Please note it was me who first suggested Google Street view and location details could be given. Reason I threw it in is because a set of locations shown in satelite view might be very good at helping people understand if they were in fact on the land all these fake charges relate to. Nil response so far from contributors suggests such a database does not exist or they have no knowledge of such if it does.

Fact I think to do this just now may weaken my case is fair. It will come when right and safe. Stop the witch hunt please.
Perhaps the wish by so many to see it is for their curiosity.
Not stuborn. Just wise and careful.

    It's not a witch hunt.

We all want to help here but you've not given us the information to be able to help.

Your over emotional, almost rude, attitude makes it difficult understand what you want from us. The implication in your last post suggests you're attempting to give details to try and help others but unfortunately you're not.

The BPA won't help you and certainly any organisation getting the demanding and rude email you detail above is unlikely to help your cause.

State clearly what else you want that will help. A look on Google will come in good time. What else?

If I seem emotional then thats not a condition I can control. It's an emotion and a realtive condition. I might seem cool as ice to another. That this helps others will be for others who follow to decide.

I don't expect the BPA to help at all. Old Boys Club as one good adviser put it.
First reason for registering it with them as a complaint (taking their own and POPLA advice) is if this gets to a higher authority to be decided. I know the judge would take a dim view if all other appeal and complaint procedures had not been followed. Perhaps unlikely but the judges sure don't like to have their time wasted.

Secondly they just might decide to contact Parking Eye and ask to see the evidence. As the leading association with such high standards of customer service and codes of practice published all over they would look silly for not having acted. Appreciate they might get a million hits a day by cranks like me but I have a legitimate complaint and none of these organisations gives us the opportunity to talk something simple like this over rationally. So in the end perhaps we become emotional.

The words are copy and paste from their web form I completed. No scope to be nice, polite or courteus. I could be more polite if there was the oportunity to send an email of complaint. Have to be a little brief with words. I am trying to earn a living and go about my business while responding here.

Can you imagine how frustrating it is to know that all this rubbish that's going on would be ended if I could speak to the person who will review the pictures of my vehicle. They will clearly see it in the street and not the car park. Clearly see its a mistake and do the right thing.

Just had an email back from PE. States they don't have record of the boundaries between car park and public highway. Not smart.

How many car parks do you think PE have that operate in the manner you claim??????????

I cant believe this one does, it is not normal, most of us here have been here for years doubt anyone has heard of a car park operating like you describe.

Seems like you have them cold, then. Now would be the time to post the Streetview link, what have you got to lose?
