    Evening.
Not much to report, other than I met up with Nels today for a coffee, but she's already told you that :D We had a good old natter, and <whisper> I have a secret to tell you....she doesn't really have blue hair! ;) It was really nice to meet her, and I'm looking forward to the planned lunch with TM too.

I'm working from home tomorrow, so will have more time to pay attention to the thread. Hugs to everyone who needs one. x

    Hello all,

Well, I am off to Taunton again tomorrow - for work this time :)

Not much OS going on lately really...just about to clean my oven (shelves are soaking in washing powder and Stardrops), need to do my menu plan and shopping list. Got a bit of ironing to do as well.

So, life is particularly mundane. Hope you are all well.

    Hi All

Well, another busy day in the Broon house. DGS1 woke at what I thought was 5.55 am to go to loo, told him too early to get up. We had a cuddle and I had a wee snooze only to realise I had misread the clock! It was 6.55 he had got up. We got up for breakfast at 7.30. DGS2 totally knackered and slept until 8.15!

A lovely day here, with another ladybird hunt this morning - we must have collected at least 50! A big release this afternoon so they could see their families and get some food! When we had a look at tea-time the wise wee bugs had all dispersed in case the monster ladybird hunter was looking for them again!

DD arrived for lunch and her plan was to take boys home this afternoon. However, within minutes there was an enquiry about the lovely smells from the oven! Once confirmed I was cooking a leg of lamb (bought yellow stickered a good while ago) she suddenly decided it was a good idea for her DH to get a lift down here from a colleague so they could stay for dinner - after all, we had said we would have boys 3 nights if they wanted - this would give GB and GDB extra time with the boys - what a lame excuse to cadge a free dinner!!!! It was lovely by the way and a good few meals have been put in freezer too!
Busy day again tomorrow as we are going out to a really nice restaurant for lunch with friends. No doubt a few drinks at lunchtime will mean a few zzzzds late afternoon for DH and me!!!!

Hope you are all OK, but hugs to anyone needing them. Also congratulations to anyone celebrating.

    Love

Welcome back, Mushy - although I'm fairly new to the thread and don't know you yet! I certainly enjoy my daily fix - in fact, I think I've been here three times today - definitely addictive but they're all so nice on here that I just can't help myself!

    Evening everyone!

Mushy Peas! How lovely to see you back, I was wondering if you were okay. Glad to know that you are!

Bargain Rzl - hope you enjoy your peaceful evening at home! Please give PP my best wishes - am thinking of her.

Welcome to the newbies. This is a lovely board!

Queenie - sorry to hear about your poor knee! Hope it won't be stiff in the morning. (((HUGS)))

AMIE - glad you are enjoying all your cooking! The baby trifles sound yummy!:D

Belated birthday wishes to Pawpurrs - didn't get a chance to catch up with yesterday's thread.

Churchmouse - nice to see you back!:A

Congrats to all the successful potty-trainers!:D

Didn't do much in the house today apart from the washing up as it was a particularly "achey" day - took some extra painkillers which helped!:D Hopefully I'll be making a lemon madeira cake tomorrow - haven't tried it before but the recipe in "Easy British Food" looks lovely. And must make the place reasonably clean and tidy as it looks ike a tip atm.

Looking forward to my BM being delivered, but still don't know where I'm going to put it:rolleyes:

All for now, HOPE EVERYONE HAS A GOOD EVENING.

    Evening all.
Not read all the thread yet, so hope you are all well?? ((((()))))) if not.

Not been around much in past few days, my and dh had a huge argument ( crazychik propably heard us!!) and we have only just started talking again after about 30 hours!!! Over something really stupid too.
We only argue about once ever 18 months, so this must have been our big blow out, we can go months and months without ever even snapping at each other but then when we do we do it in style!! So hey at least its out of the way LOL We can now get back to normal!!!
But whilst we werent speaking iv got loads done no ironing left in the house all washing done, have used up everything in fridge that was almost at its best before date, hoover the whole house, wiped down the walls and skirting boards, made meal plans and storecupboard lists and done the budget for the next 2 months.Oh and got my broadband reduced to £9.99 a month permenatly!! phewwwwwwww.
Some good always comes out of bad i suppose lol.
