Ipad 3 BOUGHT TODAY ... now the ipad 4

well the cover is pretty good to be honest I had a laptop covered for 3 years and broke it after 2 years 3 months .. replaced with a brand new one ..


Have just seen one or two posts on the net saying apple are going to replace Ipad 3 models with the updated version if it is less than 30 days old and proof of purchase is provided.

If here is any truth in this it would make me assume that this new one is being released immediately and could also be an avenue to go down ,

So you are happy to pay over the odds for a warranty, but you feel you've been hard done by in buying the ipad?

One big lesson you need to take from today - do your research before buying!

You are confusing the iPad mini preorder from the 26th with the iPad 4.

Its not a case of paying over the odds if your happy with it . who determines whats over the odds.

Ive taken out third party warranties before and had a nightmare .

I took out the one with the store and yes, you may pay some more. but I had a problem which was fixed immediately and then a laptop replaced that probably needed replacing anyway so for me, i wasnt paying over the odds as I was happy with the service I got for the price i paid.

You might struggle with getting a return accepted.

For click and collect, call & collect and store purchases that are brand
new and still sealed in the box - bring it back with your receipt within 28
days of purchase. During the first 14 days we’ll exchange or refund the item if
it’s unopened. After the 14th day, if the item is unopened, we’ll exchange or
put the value of the returned item onto a Comet gift card.
Please note that this does not apply to products that have been
opened, or returned with missing parts: remote controls, instructions

So acording to you nobody knew, most people thought it would be the ipad mini announced today, but you expect the sales person at Comet to have known that there was definitley going to be an ipad4 even before the announcement?


The release is November 2nd, don't know where you're going to get one at 8pm tonight.
