  • i am writing out all my letters asking for statements from past 6 years an can't find address for RBS?
  • Hi

I've not been on the site for ages (so long i forgot my originial username & my email has changed so had to start again!).

I claimed over £2000 back from nationwide last year, but for some reason never got round to claiming from smaller accounts (GE money, Argos, Cahoot etc). I am also waiting to do nationwide again (bad i know, but a much smaller amount this time) but know i need to wait.

2 questions for any experts out there this morning :D

    1. Am i right in thinking the test case only involves the banks and not the Credit card/catalogue companies??

    2. Who do i address my request for money to?

I have all the details of what i am owed & the addresses of the banks, but i am unsure who to put as the main person. Manager?? accounts?? (i will be sending recorded delivery so i know they have recieved)

    Any advice would be appreciated.

Its nice to be back and see people still successfully claiming!

    Claire :T

I have just sent my first letter to the: customer response services unit, Drummond House, First Floor, 1 Redheughs Avenue, Edinburgh, EH12 9JN.

got a letter back quite quickly, mine is for bank charges.
    hope this helps.

  • Hi everyone,

I used the DPA address supplied in 'Martin's List' to write to Co-op Visa to ask for details of my charges. That was on 22nd December and despite a follow up letter informing them that the 40 days is fast approaching and I've still not had details of the charges, I've not had a response.

Reading the postings about claiming from Co-Op I realise that other people have been through this situation. In some postings people talk about the Customer Feedback Department not existing, having Monday - Friday working hours and not being the correct department to write to. Can anyone out there update me on this ? The last posting in the Co-op reclaim thread is in early 2008. Thank you.

People have also talked about proving receipt of the request by proving that cheques have been cashed. I used a postal order ( not recorded delivery unfortunately ). Can you prove your postal order has been cashed, and if so, what do you need to do so ?

Thanks very much and to all you out there - DONT GIVE UP !!! you are almost there !!

    Jen
