  • Hi Folks,
Another newbie here. I have read through the whole of thread on the Cldesdale, and I am about to send my first letter asking for breakdown of charges. My question is regarding the address for this. I understand that I should send my claim to Leeds. However, should the statement request go to customer services in Waterloo street, Glasgow?

Many thanks for all the info so far.

    Hi Everyone

Im new to this site and would be grateful for any replies to the following question.

After watching GMTV yesterday and saw the article about reclaiming your bank charges, I took the first step and wrote to my bank. I previously had a standard account with The Bank of Scotland which I have requested the statements for. I included my £10 cheque, but I also have and use a current account with them. Should I write to them again and include another £10 for my statements for the current account?

As the template letter states you are asking for all information held on you under the DPA it should cover both accounts and you only need to send one cheque but it might be an idea to phone or write again and make that clear by giving your second account number.
  • The recommended way of applying for the DPA if I've read up right is in person at a branch the bank.My question is - can u also do this at an agent for the bank i.e at the post office for the Clydesdale Bank?

In fact you'll find the address for the DPA letter in the first post in the Reclaim Help Thread which is linked in my signature.
