  • Thank you Becles. sorry for the delay on answering back.

I was totally confused. Now all make sense. I think I don't have anything to lose by trying. Some extra money to sort out debts...

    congratulations about your baby!!!!

And don't forget, if you will be working for self-employed companies you must tell the Inland Revenue and register as self-employed. They'll send you a self-assessment form at the end of the tax year.
  • Hi i really want to do some mystry shopping, i have just done a search on the internet and just seen one that looks to good to be true, you have to pay £35.00 to join (life time membership) and get paid from £15 for doing surveys online and you can even go out and eat and drink and be paid for it. Is it normal that you have to pay to join these companies, also can anyone suggest any companies that they work for that are good, i live in leicester. Thank you

Sounds like a con to me. Join up with the ones that are listed in post one of this thread. You should never have to pay to join.

Becks - definitely DON'T pay £35 for information.

Not sure if you are Ebay user, but if you search on Ebay for mystery shopping you will find people selling lists of mystery shopping companies for as little as 99p.

Alternatively, try putting mystery shopping into google uk, or read back through this thread (all 81 pages of it) and you'll find lots of information about various companies.

Yer betta off going through NSS, yer get yer payment miles quicker and the company ansa yer emails.

Hi there. I'm trying to sign up with NSS but am having a hell of a job completing the form. I can put the first line of my address in but can't do anyhting else, or I can use autofill to do most of it but it then says there's loads of information outstanding. Am I doing something wrong?
Let's start again (really need a kick up the bum now) :wall:

  • Hi

I have decided to sign up for some Mystery Shopping, and wondered if anyone could tell me the names of any companies where you are 'employed' by them. I have already signed up for TNS, but just wondered if there are any others which I am missing?

I am not keen on signing up for companies were I would be self employed just yet, as I would just like to see how it goes first.

    Many Thanks for your help

Has anyone else been involved in this recent wave? How did you get on? Any advice? Feeling very nervous!!!

Make sure you are fully prepared on the details of the car and the price you are trying to achieve. They can take about 20-30 minutes, so you will need to listen very carefully. As long as you follow the briefing notes, you will be fine, just treat as if you are interested in the car, to make it feel more fun
