lol do you mean Grass Roots ??? all the links are on the first page of this thread :D

Some assignments you can take children to accompany you, others you cant

I have taken my 2 sons on many assignments, they are 5 and 10 though so pretty well behaved most of the time ! and not likely to be bratty whilst in a shop etc !

It will usually state on the brief if you can / cannot have anyone accompnay you :)
and some *specifically* ask for children to be present,we have recently done a few restaurant assignments and cinema ones too for the whole family :)

    who you with?

Im worried that it would cause me more trouble. just could do with the extra cash £20 a week, Who would you recommend...

For anyone wanting to start out MSing I recommend TNS as a good place to start. They're PAYE so they sort out your tax etc so you don't need to register as self employed, they have a good range of jobs and you can sign up for them online, you just need to check the website a couple of times a day. Then if you like it but you're not getting many jobs/want to do more try some of the other companies and register as self employed.

I'm just doing TNS and GFK NOP at the moment as my work situation is complicated and I didn't want to sign up as self employed but I've had a great time, got some free things and made a bit towards my olympic challenge.

    Hi Everyone
I have been MS ing for a couple of months only (it has certainly made my life alot busier). At the moment I've not been paid by many companies, due to when I started, and I feel quite out of pocket with all the expenses I've had to fork out and claim back. I'm also a bit fed up with having to constantly check online in case I miss assignments (I always seem to just miss the good ones!) Having said that I've enjoyed some of it and learnt lots about my area by getting lost etc....and every little helps the state my finances are in.

Anyhow enough of my ramble, I was wondering if anyone has had any problems with a certain 'car' assignment with TNS that keeps getting delayed? Or is it just me?!

I have been MS for a month now. I applied to GAPbuster, grass roots, TNS and retail maxim. I got accepted at the first two, rejected from TNS and had an email from Retail Maxim saying that they were processing my application, but I haven't heard anything and it has been over a month now.

Does anyone have an email address I can contact Retail Maxim on?
Is it worth reapplying to TNS?

    Thanks
    V
