    Hi all!

Got my first two MS assignments - oh the excitement!
I have couple of questions, which I hope the more experienced MShoppers will be kind enough to answer :o

    1. Do I provide any proof for the mileage and if yes what would that be? Or do I just put the number of the miles?

    2. My two assignments are in a same town on the same day and the same part of the day - do I put mileage for each of the assignments or do I just claim on the one of them?

    3. How are you suppose to memorize SOOOO many things you are supposed to ask  - I think this is the first time MS nerves hehehe

    Thanks in advance!

    1. No, you don't need to prove your mileage, though some companies use a route planner to check you aren't claiming too much. (I guess the Inalnd Revenue will do the same if you ever get audited).

    2. Claim for one of them, or split it between the two. If one company pays mileage and one doesn't, I claim the mileage from the one that pays and put it as zero for the company that doesn't.

    3. It comes with practice, but probably best to stick to the more simple assignments whilst you get used to it. Read the paperwork a number of times in the days before the assignment.

    Good luck.

If you're ever doing a pub/restaurant job, or job where you could pop to the toilet, you could store the details of any questions you might forget in your phone and check up quickly on anything you're unsure of.

    Grassroots email or phone.

TNS - you should get an email to let you know if you've passed. If you've passed you'll get sent some paperwork and a login...its self allocation like retaileyes.

THe best advice I've ever seen about this was to take a crossword or Suduko with you, so you can scribble in the margins of that, and it looks as if you are just doing the crossword. (You can involve your partner in this if you are doing a visit for 2).

I still get nervous about forgetting things the first time on a new sort of job. And I don't think I've ever done a job where I've remembered every single thing :o - forgetting to look for recruitment posters in coffee shops is my particular downfall
