How much do yous charge for a call to a shop or a fax? Do yous include purchasing paper and ink cartridges for the printer?

Since no one responded does it mean that no one charge for telephone calls or faxes or purchasing paper or printer ink cartridges?

I offset the costs for phones, internet access, printer cartridges etc - anything that I use in relation to the business.

You need to work out for yourself what proportion of your bills are related to business & private use, for example I offset 50% of the cost for broadband every month, for landline phone calls I receive an itemised bill so I can see exactly which calls are business/personal, for printer cartridges I claim 50% of the cost (the other 50% is offset against my husband's business) as this computer is only used to print for business.

I've got a mobile that is used solely for business calls so I claim all the line rental for that, and I claim half my broadband costs.

I've got a laser printer that is used solely for business use, so I claim all the costs for the toner and paper used in it.
Here I go again on my own....

I've read here somewhere that you can claim 6p per sheet of paper printed, that will cover the paper and printing costs, so that's what I'm going to claim.

I don't think you can claim for a phone or computer unless it is solely used for business so I'm not including anything like that.

I'm going to claim 40p per mile for all the shops I've done, then 6p per sheet of paper I've had to print out.

As I've said previously in another post, this year I'll make a paper loss of around £134 purely because of the mileage and paper, but in real terms I am better off and have made money. That's assuming I get any MS to do, can't seem to get any other than clowns for Gap at the moment! I can't access Retail Eyes downloads at work, so even if I see one I could do, I can't get it. Don't know why I can't download at work, it's sooooo frustrating (anyone know why?), and Grassroots must have someone in my area permanently fixed to their computer 'cause every time I try to grab a job it's gone!

Next year I may adjust the mileage though, just so I don't look suspicious, even though I'm legit!
