Thanks Cat! I found the said email too. I popped into TNS this morning as I was going to be around the earls court area and wanted to see if I could get a free lunch but alas no luck. It is so quiet on there right now can't wait for new jobs to go up.
On the upside, I am really liking Grassroots and their personal approach. I like the way they seem to match me by postcode as I seem to get first dibs on jobs around me which is so convenient. Have a couple of Banks to do on Monday, shall have to come up with a good reason to get into Uni lateDEBT FREE AND LOVING LIFE0 -
TNS quiet??????????? I can see over 400 jobs on the screen at the moment! I know you can only see the jobs you are eligible for, but still......:eek:Ex board guide. Signature now changed (if you know, you know).0

You see all jobs on TNS, not just the ones you are eligible for. I am in London and I am able to do visits in Essex, Surrey and Kent and apart from the pubchain TNS is quiet, and I am talking as someone that has been with them for over 3years
New waves should be getting posted in the coming week.DEBT FREE AND LOVING LIFE0 -

A few days ago, I was reading this forum and realised that I will be able to claim mileage for the shops that I do. I had no idea as am employed as well and sit in an office all day!! Do I claim then all miles going from home to a MS. As well as the expenses?? What does this actually do for me? As I understand it I won't get paid the mileage will I but it is just to clear the small amount of tax........

I am doing a mystery shop tomorrow for stamp shop and have to you a fictitious address. Do I have to do this or could I use my own or my mums etc? Does anyone know if using a fictitious address is part of the exercise? What happens if you stumbled across a real address by mistake? Someone would be very confused???
Any help?

P.S. Chivers 1977 - the mileage will effective reduce your profit meaning that you have less tax to pay. How much mileage you charge is down to your own conscience, you should only claim the extra miles that you do in order to do the shop, but many people claim more. You have to be happy you could justify yourself to the taxman in the very unlikely event he/she decided to audit you.0 -
you can send to any address, but it has to be the item (Pen) inside the envelope! We’ve had to remove your signature because your opinion differs from ours. I have the same assignment tomorrow. The address for the package to be sent to is in the brief.
What are you going to buy for £5? Says anything in the shop! Except the excluded list. Will prob stick to stamps to be safe?
Just reread brief and there is a list of what you have to buy too.......doh!This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
I hope they don't expect a new padded envelope, as mine must have already made 3 mail journeys and is very tatty.
Someone in Hant is going to be popular by the postman over the next few weeks.
Thanks for the help
