Personally I use Grass Roots, never bothered signing up to any others because I get offered more jobs than I can do as it is.

I would definitely reapply to tns as I failed the test as I was rushing to get it done in my dinner hour. I reapplied 2 weeks later and got accepted. Iv just got my shopper code and password and have accepted 8 assignments already. :j

You're very lucky to be getting so much work from them - you're probably the only shopper they've got in your area! :)

I only get between 2 and 5 Grassroots jobs a month, so definitely couldn't rely on them alone.

I was wondering if anyone has had any problems with a certain 'car' assignment with TNS that keeps getting delayed? Or is it just me?!

TNS are being TOTALLY NEUROTIC about this assignment, aren't they? - and they seem to think that the slightly higher than normal payment for the assignment means that they own us body and soul - they keep ringing every 2 minutes with new questions........

These were the only company that took me on. I did two jobs in the first week and have had nothing in the five weeks since...

I have been paid but would like to do some more.. does anyone know how to contact them and ask for work??

    Hi Jobbing musician

Yes this Car thing seems to have got TNS into a state of confusion, I still haven't had any clear instructions / dates yet am expected to be ready to have days available to spring into action when they deign to let me know(I was even asked if I had a suit I could wear to look the part!) I have a feeling that we will be earning every last penny of this......

ANd they know I am going on a Saturday. How many high flyers do you know that wear a suit to go car shopping on a Saturday? It's not a problem - I wear a suit all week - but I don't think it'll look natural........

J-M, They will be able to spot the Mystery Shoppers a mile off as they will be wearing work suits at the weekend! Thats if it actually ever happens. I'm awaiting further instructions on this one but not expecting it to be at all simple. I will have to park my little car around the back somewhere!
