Re the Mystery Outsource pizza jobs - I've received an email asking me to give my details on another website - National Shopping Service - has everyone else had to do this? I'm a bit worried about it as I've never heard of them!

Is anyone else having problems accessing the mshopper site now it's moved? It won't let me log on under my old username or a new one. When I did manage to log on briefly (don't know how) it took me to some invision site?
The help function doesn't seem to work either or else I would ask there.
Hi, if you log into the mshopper site you are used to, there is a thread there for people having trouble logging in, post on that thread, then we can issue you with a new temporary password, that will enable you to log into the new Mshopper site :beer:0 -

National Shopping Service are the company that deal with the pizza jobs. Mystery Outsource, outsourced the jobs from them, you are being asked to go direct to NSS, as opposed to through MO :beer:0 -
Hi,
Is anyone else signed with React Surveys? I have just signed up as I saw it on another thread. I thought they sorted your tax and nat ins but it seems they dont. Has this changed as I wouldnt have signed up for this otherwise?
React are an S/E company, so you would have to sort your own Tax and NI out :beer:0 -

That's not entirely accurate, but close!
NSS were the clients of MO and NSS hold the master contract for the pizza assignments. There was some confusion and considerable delays re January shopper payments (a wire that was sent by NSS two weeks ago to pay MO was sent to the wrong account number and this has only just come to light after constant chasing!). As a result, NSS will pay all shoppers direct who completed pizza assignments for MO during February. In order to do this, shoppers are being asked to register on the NSS website to facilitate this early payment.0 -

Hello. As I'm newbee here, can anybody please tell me if having mistery shopping work as a 2nd job will affect the tax I'm paying with my main job?
How can I wok out how much tax will be deduted on both jobs to see if it's worth it to do mistery shopping?
I'm working full-time and studying part-time at the OU. Can only do mistery shopping on weekends or some evenings depending on exams.
Thanks for a prompt reply.:p

It depends on the companies you work for.
The tax on your regular job will stay the same.
If you work for PAYE companies, they will deduct tax at 22% on everything you earn.
If you work for self employed companies, you'll have to keep a set of accounts and pay tax on 22% of your profits when you do your self assessment.
If you are already a high rate tax payer, substitute 40% for 22% in the above sentences! Here I go again on my own....0
