Does anyone know anything about "precision research" ? Are they legitimate? Do they pay on time?
    Any advice would be great.

    Thanks

They're a very small company AFAIK, and you're only dealing with one person. I found him very nice and my emails were answered quickly. I've only done one job for them, but everything was fine and I was paid about a month later (by cheque). :)

I have done work for precision and I was very happy with the company. Good pay and I received a cheque last week. Roger also keeps in contact which is good. The questionnaires I filled in were quite complicated though. I would definitely do more work for precision should it arise.

I had an email from a MS company for a fast food job I did.

Apparently I recorded that it took 15 minutes to get the food. I've looked up my paperwork and that is what I've put down, but reading it back it does seem rather a long time to wait.

Trouble is I can't remember back in detail - the only think I clearly remember is that the girl serving was training a young lad and going through everything with him very thoroughly and that the toilets were very dirty. I even commented to my husband when I got home that this place was horrid.

Seems this place have identified me on CCTV and are querying my report.

I don't know if I've messed up or not, but now I'm worried that I'll get black marks if it's proved I have given the wrong time and I'll be kicked off being a mystery shopper.

I've emailed back and told them everything I can remember.

This just seems to put the tin lid on everything .... I really am having a carp year so far, everything I do seems to be turning to poo!

Sorry - just feeling sorry for myself.
  • I've been allocated a job fo a pizza takeaway via GAP buster - is £12 reimbursement all they usually offer? It shows only that and £0 fee?

They want me to order a medium pizza and a starter, so that means I'll end up with no cash profit, and petrol expenses?

Wait and see what happens with the CCTV report, and take it from there.

Everyone makes mistakes and companies are leniant if it's a one off error rather than you making serial mistakes. I've just had a report passed where there were lots of sections, but I forgot to count how many soap dispensers were in the toilet! I apologised and the company were fine as they know I normally do everything right, and this was just a small oversight on my behalf.
Here I go again on my own....

I've not done a pizza job, but I know Gap do offer some jobs where they only pay expenses and no fee. The petrol ones don't have a fee, just reimbursement for the petrol you have to put in your car.

  • They can forget that then! lol. I'm not spending £12 of my own money and waiting a month for it back with nothing else on top. I spose it's fair enough if you would use it anyway, but I wouldn't normally get a takeaway from thi particular place. Thanks for the info
