It seems to be quite common now with some MS companies just to give you the item, so in the pizza case, you would get a meal for two for free but nothing else for the priviledge.
I only accept these when I want the item or was planning a night out anyway.
Hope this helps0 -
I don't go out of my way to do them either! I'm doing some petrol ones, but only in places where I'm going to for other companies, so I'll be passing them anyway. Here I go again on my own....0

They want me to order a medium pizza and a starter, so that means I'll end up with no cash profit, and petrol expenses?
Welcome to the wonderful underpaid world of MS!!! These jobs aren't worth doing unless you are in the area already and need a 'free' meal - actually a meal that costs you a month's interest on the money, as you have pointed out.
I see you've been allocated it - be careful to check the reimbursement before you apply........:oEx board guide. Signature now changed (if you know, you know).0 -
Hi,
Is anyone else signed with React Surveys? I have just signed up as I saw it on another thread. I thought they sorted your tax and nat ins but it seems they dont. Has this changed as I wouldnt have signed up for this otherwise?0 -

I did one of these last month and the pizza and starter I had came to less than £12 but they still paid the whole £12 even though I put in a receipt. Dormouse said they often seem to do this so IF you wanted to take a chance on this being usual practice, order the cheapest you can and you can atleast pocket the difference as 'pay' - I wont' say how much you'll get in case you are overly excitable!!0 -
Yep, redcar is right, for their pizza jobs GAP pay the whole amount even if you've spent less. I've only done one pizza takeaway job, which came to about £1 less than the reimbursement, so made £1 on it.
The buffets are the ones worth doing if you're doing them on your own, as you can make a few quid's profit.
Note that this does not apply to all Gap jobs, as some specify that you have to spend a minimum amount. It's the pizza ones and computer ones that pay the full amount no matter how much you've spent.0 -
Spendaholic - what? you mean you wanted paying? you gotta be avin' a larf!
being serious though, if gap is the first one that youve worked with, don't despair - not all ms companies are the same (and i can't think of any that pay less than gap) so try some other companies.
it's gap's burger type restaurant breakfast visits that irritate me the most... you're not allowed to pick anything off the menu that's vaguely healthy leaving only the sweaty egg things in the rubber bun.
I mean, what kind of person would eat that stuff voluntarily?0 -

Thing is, I didn't actually ask fo it to be allocated to me - I'd had a couple of emails from them about the same joB but when I logged in there was nothing there so I emailed them and asked how I get to see what the deal was and they emailed back saying they'd allocated it to me! Now I notice they mark you down or something if you de-select jobs?
This is the first time I've had anyhting offered from them, but I've done a few now for Bare and NOP with no problems. I also did on for Mystery outsource on the feb wave of the pizza thing-what a nightmare that is - what the heck is that about with the pizza sandwich? lolGOD BLESS DURAN DURAN

I wouldnt worry too much about being marked down by them. I have cancelled their jobs numerous times yet they still phone to try to get me to do their burger ones (either there is no one else in my area or we are all waking up to the fact that they underpay).
I went through a phase of doing as many of theirs as I could do in a day but recently have stuck with those companies that pay a fair rate for the work I do.0 -
Is anyone else having problems accessing the mshopper site now it's moved? It won't let me log on under my old username or a new one. When I did manage to log on briefly (don't know how) it took me to some invision site?
The help function doesn't seem to work either or else I would ask there.
