What is the normal procedure with Capital One regarding court procedure??
I have started Moneyclaim and they have acknowledged the claim.
If i dont hear back off them by the 30th, this will be 28 days inclusive of the date the claim was served. Am i right in saying i can start judgment on the 31st.
How likely will Capital One enter a defence within the next 3 days??0 -

I got a letter saying they were giving me £96 back, of £204 and were crediting my account accordingly.
They waited until the 14th day to send the letter though and it had the usual flannel about the 'OFT ruling' and they basically gave me the difference between £12.
I assume just reducing to £12 is standard and I should continue as I don't want to accept that as I've had months of hell b/c their continued huge charges put me way over my limit and it went to a Debt Collection Agency.
And, if I continue, do I simply send the second template letter from here?:: BCSC #71 but now discharged! ::0 -

Yes just continue onto the next letter but just add a paragraph in saying you've received their offer of XX and will accept this as partial payment but you intend to carry on and claim the full amount0 -
Also, on the 2nd letter, it says about interest. I'm not claiming interest so I assume it's ok to just take that bit out too?:: BCSC #71 but now discharged! ::0

Yeah just leave that bit out if it doesn't apply to you0 -
New to this so please be gentle!
Received statements today from Cap One...poor postman! I want to claim charges back on two accounts, my question is do i put the charges from both accounts onto one spreadsheet, or do them seperately? Any help would be gratefully received.0 -
I would do them seperately since it's easier to keep track of what is what and if they offer a partial settlement, how much is for each.
Send two seperate letters (for each account), but in the same envelope.:: BCSC #71 but now discharged! ::0 -
