capitalOne already with FOS, to check any update next month (they seem busy..!)
BoS may go same way- had another letter after my 2nd to them, saying case to be reviewed...
Coop- just had statements, after reporting to Info commission. I havent had time to do calculations yet..
.. now i have - £180, plus interest!
(may have been more, if no 6 year cutoff..)

It's funny how Cap one reduced their charge to £12 but charge you twice each month under a different heading. So either way they still get their £24 each month in charges. Have a claim going through FOS now, i'll wait and see what they come up with. Hubyy had a claim a couple of years a go and they refunded, however, they added more charges after and are refusing to pay these as they say you can only claim once. Absolute rubbish! His claim is with the FOS now also. They have refused to make him an offer and therefore the FOS have written saying they will have to investigate now and even though his is only a small amount it's worth seeing Cap One squirm when they have to pay up £400 each investigation.0

Hello
I am hoping to start the process of reclaiming charges from Capital1 credit card.
The trouble is I would like to keep the acct open after all is said and done. Has anyone had their credit card cancelled after reclaimng charges?
Thanks

Hi
My credit rating is not so great.....wouldn't qualify for another card I don't think.
Wondering if anyone has claimed successfully and kept their account open??0 -

Hi
I need some help, i have a old debt with capital one a default was registered in 2007 the amount is for £117, this is made up of all charges but they are £12 charges. The debt has now been sold on to Robinson and way, I can't contact them yet because they haven't sent me a letter yet.
So my question is can i claim back these charges or am i to late?
Secondly how do i go about this if i am able?
Thanks in advance.0
