Sorry if this has been asked previously.

Can I claim all the £12 fees back? As I notice they now charge £12 twice each month, so either way they get their full charge in.

I wrote requesting charges including £12 back to the sum of around £650 back and they wrote saying ususal £12 is in acceptable fee and will only refund the difference and offered £32 back.

Obviously I will write refusing this. Do the courts have an acceptable level. i.e.£12? Or will I get it all back.

How long are FOS taking at the moment??

The FSA said that if they charge no more than £12, then they wouldn't investigate. Doesn't mean that £12 is legal. So keep going, you WILL get your money

Totally agree, I got back all my £12.00 payments, I applied in June, Got the usual, we will not be paying letter, then was ill, so didn't bother for a while, then started MCOL which was acknowledged on 31st July, Then 5th August, got a letter saying it will all be paid including interest,
    These were all £12.00 payments.
    Good luck, and keep going.:money:

  • fao any successful claimers- do cap1 deduct any claim from your balance, or send you a cheque?

  • am curently doing claim for £548 + interest (current balance £1400- that may have extra charges added since, no statements recd since card was cancelled..)

a/c was sold onto lowell JUST after i was sent copy statements.. Lowell and their heavies have been writing, threatening court action, bp etc..

what is best way to tell them to 'cool their jets', pending a claim- and should that go to cap 1 (do i use same address where copy statements came from?), or to lowell (and/or their dca..)
