Hi there, I filed my MCOL on the 17th of Jan but i find the whole thing confusing?

It has been ackowledged by them on the 22nd ?

I assume I have 28 days from the date it was filed for them to defend ?

is this 28 working days?

If someone who has gone through this before could let me kno to process that would be cool!.

hi there you will get an offer soon if you can check your account daily online.I think they say they will defend and then pay up straight away. you will get your money though do not worry,the waiting game is hard but stick with it.

I am in the processof reclaiming from My in use barclaycard. Anyone with experience of them canx card after this??
Also i h ad a capital one card that got handed over to the debt collection agency. I for some bizarre reason dont seem to have any details of the card number etc. Its been paid off for over a year but i need to reclaim all those horrid charges! Anyone any idea how i can get teh details of this card??
and therefore start to claim back#/??

Hi all Iam claiming £1000+ from crapitol one and ive sent all the Letters etc ! Lots of tooing an frowing ,then the stupid offer of practically nothing, :mad: so I went to my local CC and took that route :rolleyes:
They were deemed served on 24th January and filed acknowledgement on the 31st January Indicating to defend the whole claim

So I was wondering if anyone can tell me what happens now ? Or from what I can gather from the Posts how long before they cave in an pay up ? any help would be greatly appreciated Thanks

Help, i have tried to recalim charges from capital one, as per this excellent site, and now they have made an offer. On a £200 debt - the card reached the limit Feb 2002 - i have made over £1700 in payments! They have charged my hubby in excess of £1500 in over limit and late pauyment chgs! I claimed tthe whole £1466 and they have offered £396!!! Should i cut my loses?

No. Carry on with your claim. Cap One make you take it to Small Claims court but then they settle normally soon after.

You should still be able to write to Cap One and give your name and address and they will have the records.
Then just claim in the normal way.
