I started MCOL yesterday with Crap One, why do you have to wait until the cheque has cleared in your account? Are they that devious to cancel it?0
-
Anyone got a contact number for Crap1 that actually goes to someone of any stature? I need to check if they have received a signed offer from the FO, but the normal number just goes to the operator who says he cannot put you through to any other number and therefore has no information or details.0

Getting fed up with Crap1 calling and being quite rude! Have told them that I will not be making a payment on the card until they pay up (as FO has had an offer from them). Today the chap on the phone even insinuated that it was my hubby putting himself over by purchases - then admitted that on a balance of £400 they have added another £150. So will wait till I get that back fo rhubby then start the ball rolling for the remiander.0

I have finally just filed with MCOL to get my couple of hundred £'s back.
Only cost £25, so was pleasantly surprised.
Now i wait.... Is it about two weeks from now they normally pay up?0 -
Well i recieved a letter today. A few hours after filing with MCOL.
They offered me the difference between £12 and £20, which i wont be accepting. Luckily my timing is perfect, and they should have the court papers soon.0 -
MCOL says they have 14 days from the date they recieve the claim to defend it.
How do i know when they recieved the claim? Is the today? the day it was issued and accepted?

Hi ,
I'M A NEW VISITOR TO THE SITE. This question may have been answered before. I sent off for statements from good old capital one 3 weeks ago. Can anyone tell me how long they normally take? The postal strike obviously ,may have slowed it down but I just wanted to know how long I should wait until I get in touch again.
Thanks0 -
Hi Emmajo, firstly welcome to the site. Capital One are not usually too slow. I would say 2/3 weeks. However as you say the postal strike will probably delay this a week or so. I would recommend that you read the postings on this thread and you will know what to expect and what time frame. Crap1 are very predictable and always follow routine. You will see from here what your response will say (your offer will show the difference between £12 and £20 charges). You then have to decide wether to claim through court or FO. Good luck and any questions, please don't hesitate to ask.0
