I am a bridal shop in wales so i cant really offer to help but please girls if your thinkin of replacing your dresses from online companies please be careful , there are a lot of shops in the areas who are willing to help you replace or get your dream dress so please contact the suppliers before putting good money after bad on an ebay dress if you want to see internet dresses please go on facebook and look for a group called reasons why not to buy your gown online and also brides aware , also please dont tar all the shops in your area with the same brush and contact them in the preston area alone i know dremaker and especially for you will do all the can in derby new bride , in liverpool opulence and also captivating brides have amazing sale dress and deal with your suppliers , sorry i cant offer help myself and am too far away but we are all thinking of you brides at this moment in time0 -
Having just read the post from The Bridal Gallery Director I would like to ask for some honest answers instead of sob stories about why you have closed and half hearted intentions to help!
Were do I stand on an order that has not been placed by YOU but have taken a deposit from me????? I have telephoned a supplier direct who has told me if my order has not been placed my money has gone? I feel so angry and let down-how could such a highly established award winning, family run business let this happen?????
With regards to communication from the company, I wont hold my breath and advise others the same. I have dealt with this company in the past and this is definitely not one of their strong points unless it is for their own benefit they seem to go into hiding and do not reply.
They say they intend to send letters to customers and suppliers next week but to tell me something that I have found out myself from a simple phone call certainly does not suffice.
Judging by the way they have treated their loyal staff at all stores i.e by informing them the night before they were due into work and two days before their pay day that they where to close only highlights their ignorance and total disregards for personal feelings.
A rumor that two of the directors attended a football match in Liverpool yesterday further highlights their complacent attitudes and where their feelings really lie.
I am disgusted.0 -
Director of bridal gallery please just tell the people who have paid deposits are we going to get our money back? We can not sit here hoping that we might get our dress from you three months before the big day. This is not fair to any of us. I have no faith in any supplier after experiencing this and am considering a high street dress. This is too much stress to go through. If you just told us tough you have lost your deposits then we could cry a bit more but move on. Please don't leave us hanging on to false hope.0

Mine was paid in February so I'm hoping the order has been sent to the designer???

Ditto, all we are asking is a few sentences to say, yes we will get a refund if you haven't ordered the dress???
No, you won't get your dress cos we never placed the order????
We have lost our relationship with suppliers cos we don't speak to them either ????
Start looking for new dresses?...
We are all wanting the same answers.... You must be reading this, instead of sending us letters out just put it on the website so it saves you time so you can carry on delivering the dresses you still intend delivering??????
Give us the name of the liquidator who was with you on Friday night at your Tarelton shop???????

I was employed by The Bridal Gallery Group untill thursday evening myself and other staff gave 100% to their job and we knew absolutely nothing it was a bomb shell to us all i loved my job and gave it my all to think that this family has detroyed so many brides special days has made me physically ill and if i can help please ask but believe me i am as much in the dark as you all are we didnt get paid on saturday i feel now they must have known they couldnt pay us its one lie after another from them0

Hoping as I ordered it in February the Store will have sent it to them.
Really hope everyone manages to get their dresses or at least deposits back.

Hello girls , I own the bridal boutique by dream capture in Bispham Blackpool.I am a stockist of Sophia tolli , mark Lesley and romantica which the bridal gallery in Preston stocked. If anyones needs any help I am willing to do everything I can. I have spoken to Sophia tolli and mark Lesley on Saturday , i have a contact number and name for any sophia tolli brides and any mark Lesley brides they have asked me to take the brides details.
