Think mac's spot-on, that's the section the line stats should be under. And the connection speeds may be in smaller units than kb/sec, thomson's often listed it in bits/sec, so the number will be bigger, e.g. 2700 kb/sec would equate to something like 2764800 bits/sec :)

[I've removed i.d. bits, as per TOG's previous warning. Hope I've not left anything that shouldn't be there this time.
Now I'll do the Connectivity test and post results:

Back later today. For what it's worth, caught up on a couple more Antiques Roadtrip progs hier soir. Had the pink clockwise centre circle rotating sporadically, as usual, but at least no shutdown/msg.

Nothing useful there. You need to navigate a bit further to see your DSL Connection Link Information.

Home > Broadband Connection > DSL Connection > Details or More info

    You need to post:

Line Attenuation (Up/Down) [dB]: xx xx
SN Margin (Up/Down) [dB]: xx xx
 Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:

Notwithstanding line problems/contention/congestion OP's various posts suggest a consistent 1900 ish kbps speed which should be OK for i-Player SD.

It could be a wifi problem because[STRIKE] #4[/STRIKE] #8 indicates OP is using wifi but #20 suggests otherwise.

    @AMPERSAND

    Please download SINO by Artellos.
    • Save SINO to a place you can remember and run SINO.exe. (If you downloaded the ZIP version you will need to extract it first)
    • Then please check the following checkboxes:
       Ipconfig
       Ping

    • Once checked, hit the Run Scan! button and wait for the program to finish the scan.
    • A notepad window will pop up. Please copy all of the content into your next reply.
Note: If you try to interact with the program once it’s started scanning it might appear to hang. The scan however will continue.

    Good morning TOG-

I'll be in and out again. but seeing your green light is on, hope you can advise next step.
Do I 'select all' in the small pop-up SINO box before running scan?
