Or maybe a neighbour can take your TV to their house and retune and test for you. As it as not worked since DSO it really does sound like a retune is required. From your DS post last year you managed to get some digital channels. Have you a manual for the TV?
Look for 'menu' button then setup, then somethin like retune/auto channel scan

The problem with your TV occurring after digital changeover is possibly a retune/AV input issue.

Firstly check if you can get Freeview where you live (there's not many places left that can't) by using this link:

Post the result.

Please post the make and model no. of your TV.

Do you have a separate set top Freeview box?

Definitely snake oil, you need to check some of the things GJ is advocating first

Yes macman, I guessed at this too.

Other set had same problems.

My new set was in its box for over a year before I set it up. Umpteen peeps[inc. professionals] have declared themselves stymied. Everyone can follow beeb instructions for 3 steps. but the next one they refer to never appears.
I continue to try it, every so often, on a 'just in case' basis.

Obviously, the channel/stations logos have not copied, but they're all there. In fact, I picked up a Freeview topbox gratis from an Argos offer posted here some months ago, when a local-ish branch had a re-launch.

The Argos box is not a factor, TOG. I have never used it. I'd bought the new set[after much reading on mse, bien sûr!]to give me freeview. I will never buy sky, loathing Murdoch and all his works.
