Those of you who have received refunds through the post - have you had any correspondence from Neil or did the cheques just arrive randomly? Still no word from Paypal even though the date for my case to be reviewed was yesterday and surprise surprise - no contact from Neil!! Have asked him to collect the parcel he sent out on 24th dec AFTER I had cancelled my order - like so many people on here I have had enough now...0

Hi, just wanted to pop on and say my bit.It looks like people are starting to get their refunds now which is great.What Neil did not factor in hes plan was the power that this forum has.
This is a message for Neil .Was this your plan from day one or did it just go very wrong,That we will never know only you can answer.One thing we do know is it was your fault and know one else can take any blame.My advise would be to learn from this and in the future try honesty it might not save your company now but it would have shown you in a better light and set a better example to your family.We all make mistakes in life it is how we deal with them that makes the person we become.

I just got this email last friday "
We want to let you know that your order ******* status has been updated to...
REFUNDED
If you have any questions about your order, send an email to [EMAIL="sales@thenorfolkhampercompany.co.uk"]sales@thenorfolkhampercompany.co.uk[/EMAIL] or simply reply to this message."
Followed by a cheque arriving by post this morning. Nothing else in the envelope. Just the cheque. Waiting now for it to clear :eek:

Cheque arrived in the post this morning, not had time to bank it today but will do on Wed. I will be keeping an eye on my online account to make sure it clears of not court here I come!!!
Also no apology or comp slip in the envelope just the cheque - Neil if your reading this please put yourself on a customer service course. :rotfl:0 -

I had emailed him twice, and then sent a follow up letter saying I would go through the small claims court if I didn't get my money back by 3rd January. There was nothing in the envelope except a cheque.0 -
Just had a reply from Neil and he is sending me a Chq out this week0

thanks for all the replies re. cheques. I have phoned paypal as my claim was due to be reviewed yesterday. Apparently it will 'tick over' and I will be contacted by email at 9pm - fingers crossed! Then hopefully just the small matter of getting Neil to collect the unwanted parcel sent out on 24th Dec (obviously to prove a point to Trading Standards that they were sending orders out but unwanted, not needed and sent after formal cancellation of my order...). Will update again when I have more news. Good luck everyone but hopefully things are looking up xx0

Our team's a reduced one over Christmas and New Year working on getting the weekly emails out with less time than usual to do it in.
