  • When did you file with Paypal angel13??

Am a little bit worried by their last statement when Paypal says they would take appropriate action against the sellers account if they did not have enough funds in there !!!

I just want a refund not action on his selling account lol !! I am counting the hours down as mine says once 31st dec has passed they then my case will be decided !! Do you think they will decide at 12.01 lol ??

So pleased to see refunds starting to come through (although not before time). I hope everyone gets back what they are entitled to and wish everyone a happy, stress-free new year!

  • So glad refunds are coming through. I was out of time for PayPal claim so I have CC claim which is due to be decided 3rd January.

I'm feeling quite hopeful now of getting my money back!

    Happy new year everyone xx:beer:

Despite the PayPal email you are covered regardless of whether seller has funds or not. If anyone has issues physically getting funds from PayPal once the case has been granted in their favour, ask here and I'll explain how to,proceed

For paypal I believe cases are actioned automatically at 9PM the day after the seller hasn't responded.
Ever stop to think and forget to start again?

Soolin, I have received a cheque from Neil yesterday, which I have banked but probably wont be cleared till say Friday. I had also put in a paypal claim of which paypal expect a reply from neil tomorrow. How do I deal with this as dont really want to close the paypal claim yet in case the cheque bounces.
    TIA :)

If Paypal rule in your favour, you can rip up the cheque.

I wouldn't have banked the cheque until knowing the PayPal outcome. It will more than likely be found in your favour so you may end up having to pay one lot back to Neil if the cheque clears also
24 beers in a case - 24 hours in a day. Coincidence?

My PayPal claim is due to finish over the next couple of days. Stupidly, some might say, I don't know what to do as I actually want the hampers! I don't care if they're late each month or really what's in them as it'll still be worth more than I paid for them. What I don't want to happen though, is for the company to go under and take my money when I could have got it back to start with.

I also feel for him as he's a small business and I honestly think he just took on too much to cope with - maybe not a good idea but how many times have I had an M+S order cancelled as they don't have the item in stock any more. Okay, he handled the fall out exceptionally badly and he should have stayed in control and polite.
So back to my dilemma - get the money back or risk it! OH says the money's spent so chance it but ... I'm so indecisive!

As an aside I am not connected to this company in any way, shape or form.
