Just checked my account and it's still showing as processing. For those who were refunded, were you in or out of time for Paypal refunds?

I was way out of time for Paypal as I ordered in September. I just checked by the way, and my order is still showing as "Pending." :rotfl:
  • Very pleased it's looking like things are progressing for the better, and I really hope everyone gets the outcome they want soon.

I was going to ask if there were letters of apology, or an explanation in with the refund cheques. I'm obviously a bit naive huh?

Wonder if Neil has any New Year's Resolutions.... I can certainly think of a few for him :p

I was in time for paypal and put in a claim last week. But I've left the claim open in case the cheque bounces and will close it if the cheque clears. Mind you I havent heard of anyone sucessfully getting paypal refund from this thread yet, unless I missed a post or 2.

I have just had a full refund from paypal after no response from the company :j so GLAD to have my money back so I can now relax and know I will not be sent any more wrong hampers or have the stress of it ever again.

If it is any help the email from Paypal once the claim date for seller to respond had passed reads as:

"We have concluded our investigation into your case and have decided in your favour.

We were able to recover 114.99 GBP, and this amount has been credited to you. Please allow 5 working days for this adjustment to be posted.

If you are due any additional funds, we will make our best effort to recover the balance from the seller.

If the seller's account has insufficient funds to complete the refund owed to you, please be assured that we will take appropriate action against the seller's account, which may include limitation of the seller's account privileges."

The money is already in my PayPal account and I am transferring back to my bank now so this whole sorry saga is finally over - Happy New Year
  • Well Im still waiting to hear about my refund. Neil emailed me 3 days ago, saying could I help him with some info!

He said he has 3 orders for me (correct), one payment is ok, the other 2 says "check payments" so can I tell him how much is needed to refund etc and he will sort it out.

I emailed back stating all the order nos, the amounts etc, and said the reason why 2 payments were asking to be checked, is due to Paypal having disputes against them, but all 3 needed refunding.

I said that all he had to do was go into Paypal and answer them and they can refund instantly and then close the case for 2 of the orders, then he just needs to refunds the other one separately.

BUT, still no reply since 3 days ago, nothing happened in Paypal and hopefully the cases in Paypal will be decided tonight, as I filled claims on 21st Dec and they finish tonight so to speak.

It would leave my first order still outstanding for a refund if Paypal refund me, but I can chase that separately.

Im pleased others are getting their cheques and refunds, still a bit miffed as to why I haven't got a cheque or why he queried my payments as I know others have gone ahead with Paypal claims etc !!

Never mind, all come out in the wash so to speak, and I hope that I can get some money back from all this soon.

And I honestly hope that all the cheques received do not go boing boing, as I think we have all had enough now and just want to forget all this as quickly as we can.
