All claims start from Northampton court as this is the nearest to MoneyClaim online, it will be transferred to your local court.

SNAP! Me too. Just got a letter from the court this morning saying Abbey 'are going to contest it, etc, etc'. I get the impression it is all a bluff. I've had a search and there is someone who actually turned up at court on 5th Feb this year with surprisingly a no-show from Abbey and offering her a full refund! (Cant remember her name now, but search 'abbey', 'court' and you should find it. Anyway its not all doom and gloom and Abbey are just class bluffers, basically we just have to hold our nerve.

Don't have a date for a hearing yet, just a copy of the response pack - stating that the solicitor for abbeys name and the fact that they intend to defend!

Can anyone give examples of actually receiving payment in full from Abbey after they have been to court?

Need your help !
Abbey are getting dirty. I am in dispute with abbey over charges on my account and been trying to get all my charges information from them.
I have paid the £10 they sent me my charges but 2 months worth where missing. they came to £4661 and have started the process of reclaiming them with the letter sent yesterday. Today i have found on my credit file that they have reported me for non payment on my account for 8 months i have been in dispute with them over the charges on my account and have the statements its only been 5 months not 8 how can they do this?
Is there anything i can do?

can someome please give me some advise i'v sent my first letter to Abbey asking for the last six yrs of charges but the reply i got was a bit confuseing. heres thier reply, ( thank you for your letter bla bla unfortunately we are unable to supply a list of charges applied to your account for the last six years because we do not store this information separately from other transactional data. We can supply a list of transactions on your account which will include any charges applied. Although arrangements have been made to send you the last fourteen months of transactions in the form of duplicate statements, most transactional information between 2001 and 2005 has been archived onto microfilm and is not available on our computer system ). is this normal . please help cause i dont know what to do or where to go from here fanx inadvance
