Your weight loss is incredible!
Thanks! My willpower was good for the first 2 weeks of December but I've been baking today... I may have eaten [STRIKE]1[/STRIKE] 6 cookies in the name of quality control
TCB definitely comes in handy for business related expenses, nice bonus from there.
He's taking advantage whilst he can - as the company grows, processes will get put in place and he won't get to book his own travel.Mortgage at highest (April 2008): ~£195,000

I'm still at -3 lbs for the month :T
Considering that it's just the two of us for Christmas dinner and we're having bubble & squeak, I appear to have spent a small fortune on food & drink...
Thursday - hosted a party for the neighbours (x4 households)
Friday - LOs (I over-catered again...), FIL popped down to help us eat them!
Today - neighbours that couldn't make it on Thursday popped in for a couple of hours for a cup of tea & mince pies/HM fruit cake
Christmas Eve - my dad & his ladyfriend are coming for lunch (fish pie)
Christmas Day - a couple of slices of the Boxing Day ham with bubble & squeak
Boxing Day - Mr MWC's family visiting for board games & buffet
Wednesday - recovery day, scotch broth on the meal plan
Thursday - day trip to visit my brother, SIL & nephew
Friday - fancy lunch in London town
Saturday - another recovery day!
New Year's Eve - hogmanay at Mr MWC's cousin's
New Year's Day - yet another recovery day!
I picked a bag of salad leaves from the garden today :T Currently @ £1.50/bag
We booked our summer holiday today - 2 weeks in Croatia in June :j We are extending the holiday for a few days (using Mr MWC's free hotel nights) so the £120 discount we got for attending the holiday company's discovery day will go towards paying for the additional car hire costs :TMortgage at highest (April 2008): ~£195,000

Must have been the day for booking holidays, we booked another one for next year yesterday aswell! Croatia looks stunning.
You seem to have a good balance of socialising/family time and recovery days over Christmas.

Do you still do your January grocery challenge of using vouchers/points?
Yes, that's the plan - I'm not sure of the actual amount I'll have to spend yet but I do know that it'll include £112.50 of nectar points
Did I mention that one of us is going to Mexico on a work beano for my birthday? And it's not me...!!! So I'm thinking of visiting my aunt in Toronto for a week in January rather than sit here and mope

Are you visiting Plitvice waterfalls? If so, you can tell me if they need to remain on my bucket list :rotfl:.
 to Mexico
. I'd suggest coming to see me but more likely I could come to see you the way things are going . Enjoy the snow if you go to Toronto :snow_grin. Oh, and :xmassign:. A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

Merry Christmas everyone :santa2:
We're having a lovely low key day - presents and a 4-mile walk this morning, working our way through the drinks cupboard in front of the log burner this afternoon!
I'm hoping to go to Plitvice Lakes National Park GG - although a slight detour will be required
Feel free to pop in whenever you need a bed for the night or a change of scene - if it's the week we're both away, you can chickensit!!!

I'm just baking the last batch of white chocolate, cranberry & pecan cookies (gift for my brother's MIL). I'm being good again after a couple of days of gluttony so Mr MWC is on QC duty!
Overnight oats, banana, berries & skyr for breakfast
HM scotch broth for lunch
LO winter coleslaw (red cabbage, red onion, carrot, radish, apple, dried cherries, flaked toasted almonds with a mustard vinaigrette dressing) topped up with shredded raw sprouts & LO ham for dinner
We went for a 7.5 mile walk this afternoon and my new fitbit tells me that I've done 15,000 steps :TMortgage at highest (April 2008): ~£195,000
