 10 minutes late this morning
25 miles at an average speed of 27 mph; however, 12 miles of that was on the dual carriageway at 70+ mph and the rest was at snail's pace
I don't envy you trying to get into central Cambridge VH - the outskirts is bad enough...Mortgage at highest (April 2008): ~£195,000

When I went to pick up our new car (rush hour Glasgow), it took me 25 minutes to travel the 1.2 miles to the motorway :eek:0

Running on empty this evening
1. Go to the gym a minimum of 20 times before 10 December.
Yes [13/20]
2. Follow the WW plan properly in November and at least 5x/week in December.
21/23 WW points - took advantage of pulses being point-free now and had a double portion of dhal! [23/32]
3. Reduce caffeine intake - maximum 1 coffee/day.
Yes [22/32]
4. Drink 1.5 L water/day (including weekends).
Yes, 1.75 L [22/32]
5. No late nights in November.
Planning to be in bed by 9.30 pm [23/32]
6. No watching rubbish made-for-TV Christmas movies when I'm home alone midweek (I have identified this as a trigger for binge eating ). Go for a walk instead!
No TV [23/32]
7. Make a real effort to get to work early or on-time every day (my current punctuality is appalling)
No, see earlier post (although I've not been officially late this week and, as I'm having to work all day Friday this week, I'll have worked 37.5+ hours) [13/24]
8. Meal plan from larder/freezer/garden in November. Only buy milk, yogurt, bread, fruit & vegetables.
One of the photographed recipes - split pea & cauliflower dhal with stir-fried sprouts [17/32]
9. No unnecessary spending!
A NSD. I nearly ordered some personalised Christmas party invitations but I gave myself a talking to, found a template online and made my own[15/32]

Plans for December include a weekend in Cheltenham, hosting a Christmas party for our lovely neighbours (5 households) and a couple of local gastropub meals with friends
We hadn't thought about a fancy meal in London... until you mentioned it Greying! We're now booked for lunch at a new-to-us Michelin-starred restaurant in Mayfair on 29 December :j
Presents wrapped - wooden toys from his list and, even though my brother said no more clothes, I couldn't resist this & these when we were in Philly.
 I hadn't really thought about hampers
Ooh - Cheltenham is just up the road from here
Those clothes for your nephew are funky! - love them - especially the hooded cardigan/ jacket! :T:D

Which weekend are you coming to Chelt? (PM me if you don't want the details 'outed') and I'll see if there's anything around. What sort of things do/ don't you like? And will you have a car?

It's next weekend and yes, we'll have a car. We like walking and we like eating, we don't like shopping! Although, that's not to say that we don't like walking round town centres...
I only managed to drink plenty of water and stick to the WW plan (with the help of quite a few weekly points yesterday...) for both Thursday and Friday, none of my other goals... 3 coffees yesterday
Mr MWC is back from a 4-day business trip to Iceland. He ate well and saw the Northern Lights but has come home with man flu and bruises from a slip on the ice. He's off to Italy for 4 days next week.
Plans for today:
Gym - done
Menu plan & shopping list
Grocery shopping
Make Christmas puddings
Housework
LEAVES!!!
